So I am looking at the movement.the orange second hand is ticking pressing the pusher at the 2 and 4 positions does not stop the orange hand or reset it to 12 o'clock...Does the orange hand keep going all the time?Even the sub dial chronos don't reset? There ha sto be some sort of reset switch to reset everything....no?
Oh and one more thing...the datewheel only changes at midnight. I can't change the date manually unless I cycle the hands one full day. Is this correct?
so confused as I have never worked ona 7734 and am not familiar with function.....
question how do you reset the chrono functions?
Does anyone have a tutorial on how to use the chrono pushers?I can't tell even if they work on my 7734?
Hi everyone,
i am in the process of finishing a build of a tudor monte carlo....i have a set of DW hands for the sub dials and they don't fit properly......12 hour hand just sits loose and spins......and 45 min hand a little tighter but is still loose....any sugesstions? Can't get the DW hands anymore.....can i try some different hands or what can i do to use these ones....As well,
is the stem on the 45 minute sub dial thicker than the 12 hour stem?
thanks in advance....
You can fit a gen dial easily into the TC SUB. You will have to cut the feet off and glue the dial to the ETA 2824 movement with dial tape or glue.Or you can use a SA3135 movemnt with a gen dial.Just drop it in.Make your you get the new version SA3135 with thicker crown winding stem. The old SA3135 stem is weak and breaks easily. The new sten does NOT work in the old SA3135 movement! Or you can just drop in a gen 3135 Rolex movemnt with a gen dial and call it a day!
Hope this info helps!

I have aso called japanese case; but am not sure how good it really is.If it doesn't pan out with this case I try the DW case and Phong's case.I also have the ability to seal the holes in the cases and redrill/retap them to fit gen endlinks.......
TC watches is found on the other rep site "www.repgeek.com"He is a supporting vendor.
On another note. WM9 unfortunately did sour our trust. There are new owners now of the WM9 factory and any we will slowly start seeing more of the product line come to market again.....
this is not fair...
i'll tell you right now I have over $6000.00 into my V72 6263 build.I figure once it's done it will have run me about $7500.I hope you have deep pockets .Good luck with your search....have fun and enjoy the hunt for your dream 6263...
Does anyone know where I can buy the bestaftermarket 6 piece hand set for a 6263 V72 Daytona? I have seen some dealers on ebay, Yuki,Phong....anything better?
thanks in advance gang....
TC, on reps it is an epoxy. There are different epoxy covers from cheap clear epoxy to a better UV basedso the epoxy doesn't yellow. On gens.....there is a clear sapphire lens over the luminous dot.The sapphire lens are prone to fracture.....
