  1. FAKE! Wrong CG, wrong tube too.
  2. Good reading material Pug!
  3. It's an Asian movement. Yes, balance wheel shape and shock protector
  4. Exactly what anton put it.
  5. I have to disagree with your statement over there. So to say that, the same thing won't happen in other countries? I highly doubt so. It all goes back to every individual.
  6. So is the case size different or what?
  7. You are correct on that one. The gen uses a movement caliber which is smaller than an ETA7750 based thus the position of the date is closer to the center of the dial. Just take for example in another case of Omega PO Chronograph. The date is also closer to the dial. Correction: The movement on the gen has bigger movement than ETA7750.
  8. It won't fit due to a different lug size at the endlinks. The difference is pretty small but still you can see a noticable gap. Gen bracelets for these models are expensive (ca. 800Eur here), cheaper in the US.
  9. Before you can notice the wrong engraving, you will see that Asian 7750 hi beat there Dead giveaway, otherwise a nice watch. I wonder if they will PVD the inner rehaut too.
  10. 750 or 850 USD... Was quoted from another thread.
  11. Well... It depends on the city. Singapore has a free WiFi almost islandwide. Just create a free account. As for cracking WEP/WPA, you need time as well as the right software
  12. Slay. I have heard rumours about Victoria. Ranging from the impossible to the most hilarious one. Sorry, can't share here Anyway, she/he is really nice towards noobs.
  13. The AR is on the innerside of the crystal. Wrist shot: Lume shot: Please take note that this is already modified with C3 SuperLuminova. Original lume will look like the dots on the dial. Average lume out of the box, excellent when modified. Results: Strap and clasp: (max. 10 points) No sharp part on the bracelet, locks well and will not open by accident. Finishing is excellent. PVD looks even and polished nicely too. There are reports that the clasp can't close properly but so far so good for this watch. 9 Operation: (10) Screw down crown which doesn't wobble in time setting position. The crown feels smooth when screwing in/out. Pushers work well too, has large enough surface area. 9 Case: (10) Another example of spot on replica down to sapphire crystal on the caseback. No sharp parts here too, well finished even the PVD looks awesome. Perhaps the only drawback is slightly different Rose Gold colour on the bezel relative to the genuine article. 8 Design: (15) Dodecagon bezel, symmetrical design on this watch. Proven design of Riviera line and this latest release is just as good as it can get. Love the center piece, machine turned, galvanised plate on the dial. Penalty for small blemishes on the dial (-1). 12 Legibility: (10) This is probably a biggest drawback of this watch. Overused of Rose Gold colour on the hands and dial, oversized Roman numerals on the dial. Same can be said for chronograph hands, they are of the same colour and pretty thin too. I wish lume out of box can be better too. 7 with Superlumed hands 6 for replica out of box Wearing comfort: (15) The rubber strap fits nicely to the wrist but it can get pretty sticky especially on hot and humid day. Quality of rubber strap is not the best around. 11 Movement: (20) A standard Asian 7750 Hi Beat, well decorated movement plate, rotor and auto winding plate. +15 secs a day out of box. 15 Overall value: (10) You have to cut the rubber strap for this watch to suit your wrist and you need to invest a hex key in order to swap the strap or open up the caseback. Perhaps it will not go up in price and the resale value may not be so good for this watch, especially after strap is cut shortly like on my watch. 6 Total: 77/100 out of box without superlume 76/100 Conclusion: One of the latest release on the rep scene which does not disappoint at all. It would have scored slightly higher if not because of the flaw on the dial. I am aware that this maybe an isolated case but it's good to watch out for this. The design of this watch is not for everyone. Out of all Riviera line watches which has been replicated, I think this watch looks the best. Recommended for someone who are looking for something special to add to their collection or who are looking for a not-so-common watch.
  14. Yes, this is a Genta designed watch. No, the black colour is just like on Bell and Ross (asked a dealer about it).
  15. @Chronus: I haven't seen one with CF dial combo on the gen but even genuine Hublot can be customized. It's just a matter of how long you can wait. This ceramic Hublots are all backordered (the gen that is). I am heavily considering this piece. Polished Ceramic looks better than the brushed one (just my opinion, used to have both).
  16. Another one arrived here. It's H+ series CG and it's spot on. I can tell you that it's a HUGE improvement over stock replica CG on my PAM252GMT. Doesn't wobble anymore and no need for a hot glue fix HE HE HE. I am happy.
  17. The increased in price is a big bummer... Lucky you who paid 455USD.
  18. Thank you very much for a valuable insight on this new Submariner from Eurotimez. It does indeed look very good and definitely a worthy consideration. Despite Rolex engraving on the rehaut, I think this is still a very fine watch. Most importantly is it can take genuine parts
  19. try it on my small wrist (under your size). On the Chrono it's OK but not on RO Jumbo.
  20. datewheel has already been mentioned. and symmetrical pusher?
  21. I will wait... Trust me, it's gonna be in GZ watch market, sooner or later.
  22. Seen the vintage gen.... won't buy it. It looks so "undersize" due to small dial, bigger case.
  23. The watch itself screams quality. I would jolly well pick this rep and wear it often. Easy to tell on the wrist? Not really. The bigger running second subdial helps to mask it. Furthermore, there are genuine without the cutout large second subdial too but still with wrong dial spacing. The bottom line is: it's soooooo subtle that hardly someone will notice it.
  24. Lovely Ingenieur. That's for sure a very good watch as a starter. I have seen numerous new batch production with inferiour bracelet... yes much more inferiour than the early batch. So again, you have to be careful here. Pick one for yourself: PS: I would really recommend standard Ingenieur non Chrono SS as a starter, really... The thing is you are used to big sized Panerai. This has big size. If you like Chrono, get the Cousteau Divers 2007.
  25. There are plenty of unknown brands over there. I would suggest give them a look. Most are using ETA based movement, some well decorated by hands (usually bigger caliber like ETA6497). You can actually get a gen with ETA based for about 300 dollar (already counting weak USD). As to where, walk about city centre. They are scattered.
