  1. To minimize more cost, get the Asian ETA clone version. Movement is clean. With coating, it should not cost you 450USD. Perhaps much less than that (300USD if you can do your own crystal removal and installation). Spare money can be used to buy genuine hands/dial. Don't bother with the crown, it's really close to gen. I will wait till mine fails, then swap the crown. This one is the end result:
  2. that can be... or the chrono is run then pressed to stop again before 1 minute.
  3. Hmmm... I am wondering why you said that the V2 is closer to the gen. I handled many HBBs and no doubt that the best built quality is the V1 "Ultimate" (which I don't think exists on your pictures). This one is the quote for reference:
  4. I have a GSAR myself. Couldn't be happier than this, the lume is like Ball Watches (uses tritium tube). Now I am AR coating the crystal. Yes... While the Omega PO is a good rep, I will still pick the GSAR as my daily beater.
  5. I think the one really good movement on this piece comes from Silix which is featured on SD4K review (well decorated 2824-2, nickel plated).
  6. swapped to this one:
  7. Good choice of watch. Looks to be 45mm to me.
  8. You need help of another person. One pushes the pin from inside of the strap then you hit the pin from outside with a pin + hammer.
  9. Can you check the caseback? My caseback comes with single sided AR coated and so is the crystal.
  10. This one here: Followed by:
  11. I think the premise is to have relatively cheap gen watch with "valuable" movement and put it to the rep. Again, you can still make the gen watch running with Asian movement most of the time. Agree with case by case basis.
  12. The woman spoke with funny accent too
  13. Well... He went to the house and found the guy. I think he's the seller.
  14. Put an Asian movement on the genuine and sell it with "Asian 7750" movement. most likely you will be able to recover the cost.
  15. You can get it out of modern PAM092 or 186 or 252. The datewheel is very good on this model.
  16. Thank you very much for the comparison pointer. Yes, now I see. So I think I have the old case and so are you frogfalls.
  17. @frogfalls: yours look like to have the same caseback as mine Is this the old case?
  18. [censored] happens... This guy is just unlucky.
  19. The bezel is made of a few layers. Outermost part is made of sapphire Anyway, laz, I showed you pictures of this watch during Brussels GTG on Chronos magazine.
  20. I am not sure about that one. I remember the G version is actually pretty recent. That confirms that this rep has "running serial number". On this thread alone, I have seen G1200/1200, G1128/1200 (mine) and G0002/1200 (Stephane's).
  21. @rosnik: my rep PD comes with silver hand.
  22. Ok. So what's your serial number?
  23. Sure, you are right on that point. Lume is not my primary concern but it will be a huge bonus (and step to achieve a better rep). In any case, what impresses me is there are very rare replica (7750) watches which uses correct datefont/dayfont. This rep is just one of that very rare (look at upcoming Concord too... plus Chopard MM to name a few).
