Don't think MBK make the second@12 yet. Looks like the Thai shops are selling the Chinease version. Check on the position of the date window/crown and hand size can tell more. Can't make a 100% judgement on these observations as the pictures are to blur.

Do your study in more depth. There is no way to rep the second @12 movement. If you want it, then pay 20K for the gen.

Explained in above response.

Inpect more carefully. The endlink mteal piece is less extended for fitting the bracelet. I got this confirmation from the local Hublot agent too. The gen use different endlinks. So looks like the rep uses the same and mod the bracelet to fit. It will be a big flaw straight away just by looking at it in real.

Buying reps nowadays is getting more and more frustrating. It is no longer like in the old days when I got the watches from dealer like EL. All those old pieces were alomst sure 100% trouble free. The 183, 172, 027. 089 that I got 3-5 years ago are all still running like power horses today. But for the reps that were bought in the last 2 years they always came with this and that problems, big or small. Some have to go back for replacement. Date wheel not aligned, scratched dial, dents on the case, stripped screws, hands scratched......... just a few to name. It is absolutely nuts how disappointed you are when you opened the boxed and found all these shits on your newly acquired watch. I know a rep is a rep, but it doesn't mean we deserve for this kind of quality for an average of 300-500 bucks product. You can buy a Cartier/Tiffany ring for 500 buks already. A lot of time is needed to fix all these small/big problems until I can wear them. Sometimes even have to get the whole watch dissembled and wait for spare parts to fix the defects. Sometimes my wife just complained what the hell I am doing spending all the time in fixing these watches. "Why you have to tear down a newly bought watch and fiddling it around in pieces before you can wear it!?" "Isn't it supposed you paid th emony and have the watch put onto your wrist straight away?!" Honestly I really do not have much expectation on reps anymore. I always got myself prepared for fixing it up whenever I ordered a new piece. Can't believe how much money I have spent already on all the Swiss made watch tools for doing the job. May be one day if I got fired I can become a watchsmith.

Trusty perfect will not take gen spec parts. Sorry.

It is wrong. The gen uses different endlinks for the strap and bracelet.HBB Bracelet

Interesting collection. Wonder why you need 2 Safari's and 2 HBB white ceramics though. Anyhow, nice watches you have there.

Not quite sure if this is the problem for me only. The crown doesn't fit into my ultimate PAM199. The tube hole is too small for the T-crown. Need to drill the hole, but then the risk of misalignment, and the tube o-ring may not fit back inside with the tube hole enlarged as the groove holding the o-ring may be gone.

It is quite interesting by looking at these gen. pictures for the white dial - white date window & dark silver subdials? If this is really ture, then the white dial rep is pretty accurate despite the subdial fonts are slight off. But is interesting to see these fonts are correct for the black and safari model.

Are the rep, AP Band, Oracle conversion kit for the AP ROO having the spec, and can take the straps made by any supplier for the watch? Read somewhere that the AP Band kit is a true OEM spec which can fit any ROO bands but not the other two, is it true? Thanks.

It is for ETA. Will the gen. hands fit also? Haven't seen any aftermarket LV hand set for sale though. What is the source? Thanks.
-
is the spec of the YM hands same as that of the LV, both are the so called "Fat Hands". Doesn't seem to be able to source the LV hands in the bay, only those skinny Mercedes are available. Anyone got an idea/source if the LV hands are available? Thanks.
-
What is the difference in technique? Too coarse on the rep?
-
Fully support. Maybe the reason for PP not being spin off on a dedicated forum is the minimal number of really good reps available on the market for choosing.
-
Hi Tribal, You are early up or late to sleep? Thanks for your info. But keep spending on these Frankens is getting less sense. The cost of the gen. nowadays are dropping fast. Can you imagine you can get a second hand LV atu USD3200 already, at least this is the case where I am.
-
What is the problem here? Thought the Euro/WM9 is pretty accurate vs the previous Subs. Can you shed some lights on this issue?
-
I trust this is the old version. There is no crown etching at 6. It shouldn't really bother you nayway as no one is goibg to look at your watch with a loupe
-
This is for the case back only. Not sure if it is the same size for the retaining ring.
-
Obviously the factory is still not taking care of the screw problem since he first day they produced the HBB. This is really sick. The HBB is about the screws look so different, by messing them up really has kill the real soul of the watch. I am totally tired of keep looking out for the screws if they are still on while wearing it. Not until if the factory is taking casr of this issue seriously I am declined to take another HBB at any price no matter how excellent its AR, rotor, bezel etc. are.

Rolex Milgauss w/Green Sapphire Full Review by D4M
bertieng replied to Daytona4me's topic in The Rolex Area
No, no, no. The gen. crystal does has a green hue in real life. -
Is it really true that a gen. insert will snap in the bezel w/o the need of any sanding/epoxy etc...? Has anyone tried already? Thanks.
-
Hi P, Thanks for your comments. So the Tudor uses the Fat hands i/o of the Rolex skinny mercede hands?
-
The Clark's hands are supposed for the gen. movement or they actually have the ETA version?
