I wouldn't worry before 6 months..
-
Nice to see it fixed. In worst case, I think a leather strap would look awesome on this watch
-
Nice review.. But I still don't understand why they put a plastic holder in such an "expensive" rep.
-
then wait. "maybe" they will make it. But it surely won't be the same price
-
I see.. This watch is also quite nice. As for the "Automatic" word missing, it's because it's a Quartz movement in the Rep. (better that way than having "automatic" written on it and seeing the second hand ticking..) It's a "flaw" to make the rep more "believable". As for the dial color, there IS a Brown one. It's available in Black, White, Brown and Blue (blue is awesome)

I see 60 stands ? I hope you have a store (in another hand, finding 60 nice looking Omega isn't a big task )
-
Touché Btw this watch "should" have a Seiko Modified movement, which from what I have heard, is quite a good one for a "cheap" movement.
-
This is really a nice looking watch. And this pic is the gray model I think. Anyway, all dial are nice looking

Shaking wasn't really the good word. Rotating the watch back and forward would be more accurate. Thanks for your suggestion about stamp collecting, but I'm not that dumb Neil, even if you love to point it out. More like a language barrier and a bad choice of word. I wish I had a digicam that could take movies (just have a DSLR) I would at least proof I'm not a liar (like I'm sure you think I am) But that wouldn't change anything anyway. But I agree with you, after 7 months of waiting and all that kerfuffle (always need a weird words dictionary on hand when I read one of your message) I think I will shut up and take the lost. Notice I didn't tried to contact you about this problem ? I try to find a fix myself and not border you. But again, that won't exempt me from being insulted by you. Anything we do, it's never fine and always our fault. Lesson learned. Now if someone have an Idea about this problem, I would appreciate.

Update: It's not at every minutes. The movement can run for 2 minutes sometime, but it lose 2-3 seconds in that 2 minutes. After that, it stop for sure. Also it stop anywhere from 10 marker to 1 markers. (a bit wider than this morning) Toasted movement ?

Well thanks for all those info guy. Look like I will have some hard time to find a 172 with correct case and hands.. I wanted a Titanium Panerai, so guess I will go with the 177 (and maybe add blue hand, even if some people here wouldn't like that )

Hi I received a Tag Aquaracer Automatic today, a replacement of a defective watch from Neil.. (btw thanks Neil for holding your promise) But I have yet another problem. The movement seam to stop every time the second hand is between 55 and 5 ( or 11 / 1 if you prefer) The balance wheel stop completely each time the second hand arrive to the 53-57 (never the same) I shake it a bit and it restart, but will stop 3 to 5 time again. So it can stop at 53, 55, 58, 2, 3.. Never the same. Once the second hand have passed the 5 marker (or 1) it will work OK until it come back to 55 marker. I worn this watch a bit, I manually wind it. I don't think it's a " lack of power" problem. The hands don't touch themselves (all 3 are well cleared and the second hand don't look to touch the crystal. I had a similar problem with a Seiko Power reserve movement. The balance wheel stopped 2 time the first day, but after that everything was fine. I have this watch for over 8 months now and it run nicely and accurate (more accurate than my ETA) I'm a bit clueless. Edit: The watch have a Hack feature. When the second hand stop, I pull out the crown, put it back and it do the same as "shaking it". but it still stop 3 to 5 time between the same markers.

I contacted the Seller and the bidder. (yes, I had time to loose this morning) The seller answered me back and asking about information about the replica. I sent some explanation and it look to be surprised. Maybe he didn't even know. The auction is dead.

Thanks for replies. I know from certain angle, the hands can look black, but, even if I hate to show dealers watches, This one really look black in every angle. Even the Second hard is white instead of blue. I could give link of other dealers with the same "strange" hands color, but it's outside the board.

Hi, I'm not a Panerai junky at all. (currently looking to order my first one (about time )) While looking at models some of our dealers offer, the 172 always show as one of my favorite. But something is wrong. I can't find anything about this model (gen) or rep on this forum . I think there is only 1 guy that posted about it here. What's the problem with this model ? I think it look superb with the blue hands. It seem some dealer have this model but without blue hands (called Tantalium 172... strange) My choice so far are the 172, 192 or 177 (go figure why I like those, I hated them one year ago ) Thanks

My god, Neil is working on his customer service image this week

Date alignment problem seam to affect more the "Sena" version.
-
All my friends wear Quartz watch.. Why should I be Ashamed ?
-
wow.. you paid so low for this movement ! definitely a steal !
-
There is enough information in the dealer review section to make your own mind. Just search review of the dealer you want to buy and the choice will come obvious.
-
I have seen some of the ugliest watch ever in this auction..
-
well I guess your "friend" think it's a Replica because the second hand don't move.. Some jerk already told me that about a chrono genuine Seiko I had... Talk about a smart a$$.
-
You will get used to it. Sadly every thread with TTK end up that way. (Neil or others fault) That said, even if this watch have flaws, I find it very nice and "near perfect". Which, like Neil said, is as close you will get with a $200 watch. (hey, I have the same opinion as Neil this time ! ) This forum is here to talk about replica. And replica ALWAYS come with flaws. It's good to know what's not 100% right with the watch before buying it. It help you to make a choice. That said, even if you don't like TTK, this 5th version is the closest we got yet, and I finally think it's worth to get it. With all the information you get here, you can make your own choice if the flaw bother you or not. Anyway, most dealer will have it soon. (might no be the same price, but still, it's another choice you have to make.) Because some of us like the design of more expensive watch and don't have the money for it, or don't feel comfortable wearing a $3000 watch for everyday use. Even if I have Omega reps, and that I really like the look of them, Omega didn't lost a sale with me, I wouldn't ever got one anyway. Finally, if you don't like replica, what the hell are you doing on this board ?

Nice review on a nice watch. just want to add it's "reserve de marche" and not "reserve de marché"
