I don't see how a dremel could damage the movement while polishing.
When you polished, the watch was (should have been) immobile. (holding it in your hand or something other)
So the watch itself should have not over wound
If it's like me, everything that fall on my carpet simply disappear forever.. I guess someone in another dimension have a lot of my stuff by now
personal question: you say "If you have the Swiss movement spares are available".
If it would be Asian, it would be a problem ?
in worst case, servicing a manual watch is relatively cheap. I would give it to The Zigmeister (well he is unavailable until September, but may be someone near you) to service the movement.
I think it's a fairly small problem and most of the guy that will service your watch won't even charge you for this. And you will have a clean movement for some years
I'm happy for you. Hope everything will be fine with the last one. but all of those 24 I have seen have misaligned stone. Some are worst (like yours) than other.
Dealers are dealers... In watches, cars or anything, they always want to show their product at the best possible situation. You ask to revolution the world of product selling..
Just like all those magazine. If you want a date with the lady on the front page, basing your expectation on the picture, you might have a bad surprise when you get home with her.
why would you want to send money to someone that don't even reply to your email ?
just wait for it, she must be in vacancy or something. Sending the money earlier won't make it faster, it will only get you even more impatient..
