  1. Maybe a bit OT, but while talking about Storage Box, anyone know a good store that ship internationally ? I tried to contact AceTimer, but look like they are in vacancy or something. Can't find anything nice and not to expensive on ebay. Thanks
  2. I was talking about the "guy" that ordered 50 watches in one order... I don't wish that to anyone, I just say that passing 50 watches would make me nervous.
  3. I hope the customs in his country is wide open...
  4. True.. Everyone think fake watch only exist for Rolex So Rolex = Fake for most of the people you will see. Beside you cross a real fan, you will never been called with an Omega, Panerai or other good replica. For me It's my Vacheron Constentin. This is about the only one that get comment from people (and even if it's a cheap Asian, they don't ask me if it's real or not... guess no-one know what Vacheron watch are worth anyway )
  5. It's not an easy task when you don't have any special tool. Just opening the case back will be quite a challenge, then you have to remove the 3 stem (buttons), remove the dial, set the hand back.. you need different tool for every of those step. So, get it serviced and it will be solved, or ask the dealer, he might have a guy that repair them.. Don't try your skill on such a nice watch.
  6. Isn't that Dell support ?

  8. Will add 3 1804
  9. Well there is some Venus movement watch at $159-$179, which is the cheapest price I have seen. The ALange are great if you need one. There is an Omega Moon Watch at $159... killer price.. But I won't risk getting a chrono movement from a "not-so-sure" dealer... but there is good price for sure, just on few of them.
  10. People never learn I remember all the screaming of the last crazy sale. I was sure Paul would be out of business after that, but look like people forget fast.
  11. Local Costco Store was selling it $1699CND last year. (about $1300US at this time)
  12. Porn !!! euh... Art sorry ...
  13. A7750 ? look nice
  14. This is a damn nice watch Wish I had the money to get it and get it serviced. (a bit expensive both) but awesome watch.
  15. Thanks for the reply, but you are completely wrong. There is at least 4 version of the Aquaracer in Quartz with working chrono. 3 of them (Blue, Black and White) have a normal Quartz Movement (Miyota) The one I have (Silver, with electric blue sub-dial) have a micro sweeping second hard movement. The Chrono was working when I received it, it was the only thing that was good on this watch... I will try to change the battery, but I will wait. This watch is flawed and TTK (Neil) promised me a credit for it, which I still wait after 5 months of waiting..
  16. how can one pay that kind of money for this ? We should sell some replica on ebay too. At last, they would get good looking one
  17. Maybe I wasn't lucky then You can add this tip as an alternate way for those that lack skill
  18. maybe it's me, but the Gen was much better than that. (even if I'm not a big fan of the 007 design on the dial) This rep is ugly.
  19. The SMP is very close one. If you were the lucky one to have the first bond with 2892 movement, then that's as close as you can be.
  20. My Omega SMP (2824) loose 2 minutes by month (2 seconds by day) after servicing. Before service, it gained 3-4 seconds a day. My Vacheron Fantasy Power reserve with Seiko (cheap) Asian gain 20 seconds by month.. less than 1 second a day. No servicing. I think it's insane for the price.
  21. Maybe I'm a bit nervous, but didn't it scare you to buy a $2000 rep that no one can repair ? The last time I have read about Tourbillon, The Zigmeister didn't had a clue what was wrong on one he had to fix... Not quite encouraging...
  22. Great job. I just want to add, for the bezel alignment, I found it much easier to glue the bezel insert AFTER putting back the bezel in place. After trying for over an hour with the insert in place, I tried that way and got it in 5 minutes.
  23. When the crown is in "normal" place, the watch keep his time. Second is ticking. I don't think it's a battery problem (after all, it need power to move those hands)
  24. Well this one is strange. I have a Tag Heuer Aquaracer that I got from Neil (it's flawed, lot of problem esthetically. Neil promised me a credit, but I'm still waiting after 5 months) Anyway, I looked at it this morning, and the chrono don't seem to work. It's quite strange. When I press the up pusher (to start the chrono), the chrono second hand move by 1/5 a second (this movement is supposed to be like that). So if I press 5 time, it move on 1 second. If I hold it, the second will run fast, but won't stop. When I press the down pusher (to reset it or "lap pause" it) the chrono minute advance by 1 every time and the chrono second to the same as higher. I never worn this watch. Since I received it, I took picture of it and I sent it back in his packaging. (the crown was pulled for nut drain the battery) So it's basically have no time run, no wrist time in the last 5 months. Any idea why it do that ? I'm just curious to know. Adding this problem with all the others I complained on another thread, this one is a complete pos. This is my first rep I have a problem and it's a Quartz one.. funny
