The super seville I got was 36mm, just measured it. 2834-2 is 29mm with plastic surround that dial fits in. Hands was/is my worst thing I ve ruined two sets of minute hands trying to make them fit the asian movement

Just had a close one with the keyless, I had to dismantle my eta 2836-2 to figure out the issue. Fixed now, and fixed an old movement that had a keyless prob too. Thanks for your support guys

In my seemingly never ending learning curve I bought a bulova super seville for its movement (eta 2834-2) to drop straight into my Day-date project. Of course the two would never meet to form a watch as the genuine dials dont follow eta size day wheels and so on. So not wanting to waste a good movement I bought a watch case set from the bay, I went for a pvd case because I seem to like collecting black watches ? To make full use of the movement I ve decided to use the bulova dial but give it a bit of a submariner feel, I present to you the dial layout of the mighty Day-sub: Had to keep 11 and 1 markers as they sit too close to day window, I ll paint them silver anyway. I will go for matt black dial colour with these hands Maybe a bridge too far or as hublot like to say 'fusion' Mechanical vomit is another term but lets see how it finishes before I label it by that term (however I ve trademarked it) Cheers all

Great minds think alike, thats what I did Using the 2834 for a watch I m making from parts, shame to waste it as the bulova I bought was toast to start with. Good luck.

This one has a DG movement in it, I ve got a 2834-2 but the two are nothing alike I was gutted at the time.

The font size of the eta day wheel is too big for a gen day-date dial, I used a gen dial in rep case set and got ok results changed the hands since this pic.

I got a little trigger happy on the bay..... thinking these hands: Maybe get a matt dial instead, most of the cases I found where ugly so better the devil you know I guess

I find myself with a spare 2834-2 movement and feel the need to build a watch from parts, I ve seen cool hands on the bay and dials are fairly easy to get. But cases are a little harder, I ve seen ofrei's wares and not fallen out of my seat.
