In my seemingly never ending learning curve I bought a bulova super seville for its movement (eta 2834-2) to drop straight into my Day-date project. Of course the two would never meet to form a watch as the genuine dials dont follow eta size day wheels and so on.
So not wanting to waste a good movement I bought a watch case set from the bay, I went for a pvd case because I seem to like collecting black watches ?
To make full use of the movement I ve decided to use the bulova dial but give it a bit of a submariner feel, I present to you the dial layout of the mighty
Day-sub:
Had to keep 11 and 1 markers as they sit too close to day window, I ll paint them silver anyway.
I will go for matt black dial colour with these hands
Maybe a bridge too far or as hublot like to say 'fusion'
Mechanical vomit is another term but lets see how it finishes before I label it by that term (however I ve trademarked it)
Cheers all
