Hello there,
I need a new stem for a friends watch, the crown has snapped free from the stem. I ve opened the case to ID the movement, but it has no markings. The watch is a Omega seamaster chrono, the sub dials are day month hour style and it has centre seconds. I ve taken a couple of pics, maybe you can ID the stem I need ?
Thanks for helping me and my good friend Stu
Finally I ve got a 36mm RO case(thanks jmb), now I ve got to wait to find the right movement to join Gen dial hands date disc.
Rather than leave the watch in bits, I cut a plastic ring to use as a makeshift dial....
Needs a little fine tuning, very hard making a perfect circle by hand using a dremel.
Hey I m no modder, hell I m not even an amateur -I ll stick with menace to movements.
So if you know of an AP cal.2125 or JLC cal.888 let me know and I ll love you forever
Dear all,
I m finally moving forward with my franken RO, has anyone ever seen a calibre 2125 movement for sale anywhere ?
I dont want to hold on if one has never been seen by our esteemed and learned community.
Saw a c.2121 on the bay few weeks back went for resonable money, here s hoping
Thanks for any help/advice/guidance.
My first Panerai branded pam
From Reg, 40mm fantasy model (but I dont like the hob nail effect on the gen). I ve brushed the body so its less 'bright' my first success at any mod
Have a good week all.
