I am sure that someone has done this before, I have this set of Gent 1665 hands or better said Gen Rolex hand that fit a 1665, some of the lume if coming off, What can i do to stabilize it and stop it from keep falling off? Cheers Cyb

Any help or input will be appreciated. I would like some opinions on choosing between a good re-lume of the rep dial of a cartel 1680 (to improve shape and color) vs. installing a Yuki gen spec dial which might involve shaving the dial (from 26.5 down to 26mm) to make it fit the cartel case. If you have a preference between the two I would appreciate your input. Also, if you know someone who would/could do either of those two things I would appreciate your recommendations. Thanks.

Had a few spare dials coming , so i try painting this .. Using Flat Black / Elephant Grey and Desert Beige heres the stony effect seems to change a little colour in different angles and lightings .. i have a problem waxing the wordings . Seems like theres too much "spillage" . do i need to sharpen the crayons ? I'm using Chocolate Brown , white and yellow. I was trying to fill indices a different way . and this is what i did. Ingredients : 1. Oracle tinted medium brown film sticker 2. Crackle medium 3. Some lume Overlay the Oracle sticker on the back of the dial. Heat it and soften with hairdryer, Poke the indices with a blunt toothpick , creating a channel Pour some crackle medium, wait to dry about 30-45 mins. Add lume. if u dun like it , u can peel off the entire sticker, and do another .. u got a clean blank.. tried some of my wife nail polish laquer , the results ... looks

Hello, I have realized that most of the time the lume on my rep doesn't really work... Sometimes it glows slightly but not for very long, and sometimes it doesn't really glow at all. However, every once in a while, it glows like a torch, and it lasts for a long time, which is awesome. So what affects how bright the lume will glow?

Hello All! I am extremely new to this but I am a huge fan of the Rolex Submariner with Black Dial Ceramic Bezel. I am reading these posts and have no idea what BP and Noob mean. . . I am trying to find the best Replica out there..Correct bezel, Face Font, Chromolite Lume, Aligned Pearl, AR Crystal, 2.5X cyclops, date font, Correct bracelet with glidelock clasp and markings, best size and weight, and of course movement.. Hello too all, I just posted this on RepGeek, thought it would help to post here too I have recently acquired more reps then I expected and recently lost connections with my watchmaker. I am looking to see if anyone can refer me a watch-maker they know in New York, preferably in Long Island. I alive in Long Island, New York. I need a trusted watchmaker that will take a replica watch task and complete it without hesitation. Some other people i have contacted recently told me that they don't want have any business with replicas. Anyway, I am looking to do some modding to a Panerai Luminor that is coming in soon, as well as some Lume work on a Ulysse Nardin Hammer-Head watch & Rolex Explorer II that I have. Hey guys, Is anyone in touch with Uwe or knows if he's still active and accepts jobs?! For those who don't know Uwe.. Engaged a modder to relume and double AR my FM Casablanca couple months back and got the progress pics last night. So far the dial looks incredible! Looking forward to seeing the completed project soon. I also have the similar work done for an Ultimate PO so I'm probably going to have to shelf my Pams for a while and rock these beauties...

Hi! Was thinking of starting to lume some of my watches. As anything else in this hobby experience is the best way to get it to look good. So I´m looking for some Lume sources that doesn´t empty my wallet. But still I don´t want the same crappy lume that comes with the cheap reps. Found some on eBay but I don´t know brightness ratings and so on. Could these be some options, or should I still go for the expensive stuff? Number1 Number2 Also found some middle range from Watchtool Or do you have any other source?
