Hey Guys, I am new to the site and I have a question maybe someone can help me out. I have a replica Rolex that I have had for around 5 years. I do not know how the replica market works, but the one I have is of good quality. Never losses time, and just an overall nice piece. A couple weeks ago I was winding the watch and out of no where the stem came out as I was twisting it. I was so upset, so I have tried doing some research on getting it fixed and came up short. I don't know if there is a way I can get it repaired or is it even worth it. I am attaching some photos to help further explain. rolex back stem crown.pdf 4CA3C965-1EE3-488F-930E-ADA652494777.pdf rolex back stem 2.pdf rolex back casing.pdf rolex movement.pdf rolex sn.pdf

Hey there, hope you can help me. My PAM 177 lost the crown, but the stem is still in the watch. I attached a Pic where you can see it. Would be nice if you can give me some repair advice. Yours Tom

I have an IWC Laureus with a problem, as you can see: Local watch shop quoted me a little too much to fix this, so I am wondering how hard it would be. The movement is a Miyoto 0S10, and I did search online and here in these forums for stem removal instructions. I can see there is a small hole on the back of the movement with a "<--PUSH" instruction, and I can see something move in there when I push the stem in, but I could not get the stem out. Any tips/advice/wisdom you care to share would be appreciated.

Quick question for you knowledgeable chaps. Dial feet on a Yuki snowflake dial. Detailed as fitting a 2472 movement. Are the feet positions on 2472 and 2836 movements the same? Second question. Stem thread compatibility between movements and crowns. For example, a 21j movement, but fitting gen crown, will it fit on the same stem? And again, 2836 movement stem, fitting a gen crown, will it fit? Thanks again folks. Bones.

I noticed that my 42mm PO's tube is threaded on the outside, while pretty much all the pictures I've found of the tube switch process looks to be threaded on the inside (like the gen tube I got from cousins). My tube looks thicker and threaded on the outside - does it make a difference? Will it be harder to remove or will it leave a larger hole in the case? Is it a 42mm thing? I haven't seen anything about it really... t This is my case and my stem, in the picture above. That's Rymeister's stem before he removed it on his 45mm PO.

Howto Install Stem For Sea Gull / St19 Movement
kittikatore posted a topic in Watch Repair & Upgrade
Hi, I recently bought a nice speedmaster rep. with a ST19 movement from a fellow member here. Problem was that the stem was missing, but finally I could source a new one. Now I am wondering if I should install it on my own or get it done somewhere.... I only found how-to's on removing the stem, so my guess would be that installing is just the opposite? - opening case - pushing the "stem-release" button and insert stem Can it be that easy? ;-) I have never worked on a movement before and would rate my overall technical skills at about 7,5 out of 10. Thanks for your suggestions & thoughts!
