Edge
It is official. THE PAW HAS ARRIVED. I have now taken receipt of the PAW and will be showing it a good time around the lovely sights of Edinburgh, will take pics and post them here for your viewing pleasure. As an aside I will be wearing said PAW tomorrow which is my birthday, my 21st none the less so it's the first birthday honour for the little bugger and it's a memmorable one. I will do my best for decent weather for you guys in the pics, but today it was soooooooooooo wet. Shame cos it's been sunny for the last week lol. The PAW has brought shitty weather with it lol. Edge
Right Guys!! Good News and Bad news! I'll go for the good news first... I am doing well and am in good health, oh and Chelsea keep winning which is good too. HOWEVER, the bad news is... The PAW, she is dead, she was sitting idley minding her own business and now she wil not start. SHe winds fine but there is no go juice and alas she will not tick. I am really [censored] off that this has happened while it is with me, cos I can't get abusive and blame anyone else for mistreating it, she was litterally sitting doing nothing on my desk for an afternoon wound down, and when I went to revive her, nothing, NADA! I have opened her up to have a wee look but nothing too obvious jumps out at me and I am a cosmetic kinda guy not a movement specialist. The jist is that she winds and all the wheel and cogs seem to work fine, the ones I can see that is, however the winding doesn't start the spring moving thing lol. The watch will tick if I swivel it to get the spring thing moving but the movement I put into soon discipates and then again we have Nada. I need some help to save the PAW!!! Thor
I would suggest to send it to someone in the UK or GB... Not sure if Oliver could take care of it or who is able to fix the watch directly in the UK but will think about it...

Edge
Do we think The Zigmeister should be the next recipient of the PAW, or does ANYONE in the uk know how to fix her up?
KB
I think, as Thor was suggesting, that it would be best to find someone in the UK or Europe to look at the watch before sending it all the way back to Canada. Ken

slay
HAHAH I had sooo much fun in one of those edinbourgh buses.... me and my friends we were at fettes and we needed to get to LIDL (that supermarket), but we didnt know how to, and we just went into the next bus that stopped at fettes, and everytime the bus came to a street crossing we were like "comeon, turn right, turn left etc." because we wanted to come as close to lidl as possible and everytime the bus stopped at a bus stop we thought about getting out, because there always was the risk of the bus going in a totaly different direction... but in the end, we had luck EVERY darn time and the bus stopped RIGHT IN FRONT of LIDL, lmao that was soooo funny!! I really should have played the lottery that day, because we had sooo much luck xD Edited October 27, 2006 by slay

Edge
HUH HMMMM!!! I am still the current holde rof the PAW, with it's mystery ailment. I am still waiting on the group to come up with a best course of action. I am more than happy to send it on to get fixed cos she's a beaute and I'd love to see her making her way round europe again. Any and all suggestions please!!
KB
Ok I'm going to bump this again as we seem to have hit a dead end. I'm sure the PAW has not been roughly treated so whatever ails her should not be fatal, wont someone in the UK standup and offer to get her little heart ticking again. And if all else fails Chris why don't you try a hook up with Ziggy and using your fantastic pictures let him try and walk you through a repair. cornerstone
For that matter, does it even matter if the watch works? Isn't this just part of its adventures? I say just post it along somewhere, and see what happens next...

I say just post it along somewhere, and see what happens next... Yeah, I say pass the PAW on! Those roaming garden gnomes really don't function at all, and they keep going... Just choose a recipient, and keep the PAW on the move... When/if it comes back to the US, I'll take care of getting it fixed... Please update!
