jfreeman420 Posted July 7, 2009 Report Posted July 7, 2009 (edited) Found this on Timeshops. Almost fell off my chair. Quartz movement, full ceramic case and bracelet. Who buys these things and how drunk was the factory owner when they designed it? I understand the cheap $20 canal st. reps but this one is over $200!!! I guess the high price is due to the ceramic. Nanuq Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 Just a dang minute here. That model is supposed to have the pointy fours in the bezel, not flat fours. An obvious tell.
JoJo35 Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 It's actually kinda cool: Day, date, and GMT all wrapped up into one!
houndoggie Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 They make this piece o sh!t and can't make a non chrono Fifty Fathoms???? Flabbergasting!
meatwad Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 I would not even place that on a canal street wall. Here is my contender - The Lumux Pandemic It even comes in yellow - Woot ! (Check out that precision crown guard - LOL)
red71veloce Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 They make this piece o sh!t and can't make a non chrono Fifty Fathoms???? Flabbergasting! Agreed! What in the name of all that is holy is holdup on the FF non chrono?? I am dumbfounded that they chose to make the chrono first.

It's a Global business. Maybe Asian customers would love this ... thing. Taste is different all over.
Daytona4me Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 I'm going to be doing a group buy on this model, well.. more like a group suicide pact really... that is awful!!

Member X Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 There are some very special watches on this thread. I particularly like the RQLEX Daytona LoL

Don't see what's the problem! It's just a plain an ugly Rolex pretty much like most of the watches from that brand! They just should advertise : If you were not born prior to WWII don't buy it!
Stephane Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 Remember, we have our own The Horror Museum This one deserve a place there!
southcoast68 Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 If it's got double sided AR, I'm all in!!!
ammandel Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 Wow the Ubiariners end links have a snugger fit than the WM9 V2!
jfreeman420 Posted July 8, 2009 Author Report Posted July 8, 2009 t's a Global business. Maybe Asian customers would love this ... thing. Taste is different all over. The design isn't too bad. Maybe Rolex should step into the 21st century and make an all ceramic watch. They could tweak the design a bit as to not infringe on the factories copyright.
Guest HaloArchive Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 Someone should give Rolex a ringa-ding-ding and tell them that there are better fantasy watch reps of their brand than their actual watches. LOLERSKATES
