Cats
I'm not shure if this a gen. For instance i thought that the hands on all GMT are the same but maybe it's not so. alligoat
Closed 6 on the 26 on the date is also correct- should be the flat top 3's on the date wheel, also. It's a beautiful watch.
vlydog
Any estimates as to what this might fetch?
alligoat
I would think over $4K- US, maybe more because it's in France/Europe- watches seem to command more over there. my guess is $4-5000 US.
docblackrock
Don't understand the reason for the query to be honest - it's gen. A generic TRL sticker is sometimes put on after service by watchmakers. And that's before I even noticed the seller - who I know well - and he's as above board as they come. Cats
Thank you guys for your opinion. @docblackrock the reason for this post is that i'm not an epxert and i don't want to spend a lot of money on a fake. alligoat
There is only one thing, the bracelet is modern, not original. Probably came on a 7836 folded link back in '72. But it does say 'serviced', so that saves a couple hundred dollars. Anything under $4K US would be a very good deal, IMO.

Carpe Diem Cats Ok no problem Didn't realise you were intending to bid, just thought you'd spotted something you thought suspicious from your title "gen or fake" Best of luck bidding, as I said before, I can vouch for the seller. Carpe Diem Cats Hi Cats! I have a GMT with the black bezel like that one and I I pretty shure it is genuine. Mine is from 1972 ( I also have the 11 72 stamped in the caseback, wich mean that it is made in 1972, I have the original chronometer certificat and that is stamped 1972! ) But It was not that kind of bracelet I think, because mine has the older rivited bracelet! I love my watch, it is a beauty for shure and I like the BLACK dial more than the pepsi one!!
Pre V
Found this one while searching the web; another beauty from my birth year. Please use for comparison: WOW!! Check out the Patina on the indices and hands!! What a stunning GMT!! This has just swayed my current interested of a Pepsi bezel insert to an all Black one! docblackrock
Cats, only a few hours left.... I've kept an eye on it myself, but decided not to pursue so just to let you know, you have a clear run at it from an RWG perspective Good luck! Cats
Thanks docblackrock. Let see what happens but i'm not 100% shure what to do. It's still a beautiful watch but .... Maybe it will be in one of the wristshots on RWG soon. Carpe Diem Cats

klocklind1
Found this one while searching the web; another beauty from my birth year. Please use for comparison: On some of the earlier GMT:s the red arrow was smaller so this one on the picture can be a little older than 1972! theblueprince
I'm looking for a 1675 at the moment. GMT seems to have got a lot more popular on the rep forums in the last 2-3 weeks, weird.
Cats
Sorry guys i will not be posting new wristshots of this baby. It went to another home instead of mine. I'll keep searching for a 1675 maybe for a good rep or franken one. Carpe Diem Cats
