leitztozeiss
That is seriously one fat crown. I like it. I wish I could see the date magnification.
Guest HeWhoIsLikeGod
Sorry guys, but that thing is ugly. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but some of you may want to see an Optometrist.
ravishingrick
Has this one got the new asia 77501b 28800 bpm movement?
Quarks
This is sweet! I cant stand the blue dial tho. Is this the darker blue or lighter blue? I cant seem to tell. I can probably live with the darker blue version. This is PAM87, not 64. I would not heisitate on a the 64. For this one I am considering. Really good rep imo. www_watch
Seems like this on is REALLY close to the genuine thing. It's almost amazing! It should be advertised as a PAM87 though. The 64 looks way different. Would like to have a closer look if there's the T SWISS MADE T on the dial. Almost looks like it's missing. Date mag a little bit off like always. But everything else..... WOW! I hope this will be available at a reasonable price from our EU based dealers. I'D HIT IT!!!!

leitztozeiss
Just checking out the pam 87 reference pics at 'risti. Nice rep . . . thick crown, lever engraving . . . looks really good.
archibald
I just did a quick and dirty measuring job on Photoshop--the crown guard is about 9mm wide and the crown is about 2.6mm--on an actual size pic of the gen the guard is about 9mm and the crown is about 2.4mm. I remember reading somehwere that the H series guards are 9mm wide, so if the measurements are close hopefully we have the first of many accurate H series guards. JWR
Unfortunately the cutout for the crown is much larger... and the lever is engraved and waaaaaaaay thicker.
www_watch
PAM64 --- PAM87 ??? ok...... let's do a little review right from the pics. - Bezel pearl and minute marks are PAM87 style. - Dial/subdial color is also PAM87 (subdial should be recessed a little bit more) - a PAM87 should be marked with big "T SWISS MADE T" left and right of the "6" - Crown lever has the "1000m" engraving. Another PAM87 feature. - Caseback is 500pcs. limited C-series. That's again PAM64. Only real flaws I noticed: Case could be a bit thicker on the backside, pinion should be flush with the hands. If you forget about the 64/87 mix-up for a second: IMO one of the best out of the box PAM's Will probably be able to fool even near-to-hardcore-PAM-freaks as it's not the every-day-model. I'd really like to know what the damage would be for one of these. PS: Don't start to get anal about the date. Mag doesn't look that bad and maybe Finepics will take care about the font..... dadog13
FOCK!....I like it...always liked this sub PAM's...this one has messed up all of my plans of purchasing a watch that it isn't a pannie...DAMN!
dcrooz
Sorry guys, but that thing is ugly. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but some of you may want to see an Optometrist. I'm of the same opinion. I love PAM's, but I absolutely can't stand these...

luminor
the 087 is the watch that turned me on to watches. very tempted to get it, but i have a feeling, that the 243 (I-series 1000m sub with 1950 case) is also just around the corner. and that would be the ultimate sub for me besides the 202.
