IMHO it was the first watch to get it right in terms of size, construction, legibility etc. All dive watches can trace their development back to it, that’s why it is basically the same today. The 3rd photo, the grainy one, you can almost hear the voice "Bond, JAMES Bond." Dluddy, you have GOT to put up a warning before you post that 2nd photo. I think there were two. But number one son (age 25) grabbed it out of my collection as his everyday wearer as he said it looked as if it would stand up to wear. It has.
