We've seen ridiculously large watches out there and in the end how many are wearable, every day, and in every occasion? None The only one I trully see as a daily wear is the PO. So, having a lot of 40 MM Rolex and other brands wear time, I can state the following: 1. 36 is just fine (as long as you don't have Hulk wrists of course It's very readable, confortable and not ridiculous at all with sportswear or a suit. 2. Going back to my Submariners makes me feel like wearing "a big tool watch" 3. Elegance will never accomodate with "monsters" Buy a rep ...wear it and then you'll see if you are ready for a gen As another example, this one is very cool too (only missing a date!):
