Demsey
If your richest relative has to back up Thanksgiving dinner in their new house because it fell through a bridge before closing? You may be a red neck.

kye_lin
Is that a house straddling the stream?? If so, what is the large vehicle doing inside the house?

If so, what is the large vehicle doing inside the house? Being a red neck, my first thought was to sell nightcrawlers and tackle in the kitchen, and let tourists fish out of the bay window in the livingroom. You know, sell chips and beers, NFL on the big screen. Backing the F-150 into the garage would be a [censored] tho'.
AllergyDoc
They are in a pickle. Not only have they lost their house, pretty much, but they're also going to get a big bill from the county for busting up the only bridge for miles around. cornerstone
This incident happened a couple of years ago in Calgary incidentally. Everyone blamed each other for fault - the moving company said that was the route they were told to go on, etc., the authorities that they'd faxed them a new route after hours on a weekend or something along those lines. You can go along the road in Google maps and you'll see a road with no bridge still. Google Maps
AllergyDoc
Hmm.... Google maps shows my house without a pool, which we put in 3 years ago. Insurance? We don't need no stinking insurance! How'd you find out where this took place?

trailboss
I can't belive they were stupid enough to try to move that on a single dolly! They'd kick your ass for that here. trailboss
No probs AD. When they get too big here we saw 'em into chunks. Finished, new verandas being added.: That trailer (one of two) has 15 feet of lift to get over bridge rails and to raise/remove house from/to high stumps. Col.
