munk
Anybody got a review or bought the GMT IIc with the clone 3186 movement from Trusty? This looks pretty cool aren't they... http://www.tt88time.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=41_214&products_id=5425
freddy333
Since the watch just became available yesterday, I doubt that anyone here has 1. There are also 3 or 4 existing threads about this, so instead of beginning yet another 1, you ought to search out the previous threads.
Edwin25
Wow, Check out the lume... or is it photoshoped???
alligoat
It's pretty amazing what the chinese will do! Take a 2836 clone and decorate it w/ Rolex markings and then modify the balance bridge to make it look like a 3100 series Rolex movement. Look at the keyless works above the stem, the stem release slot, the click wheels, etc, all classic 2836 features. Like Freddy says, these just showed up this week, so no one's got one yet. But being that it's a clone, I figure it at so-so. Probably not worth the extra bucks.
stac
If I opened up that watch without my glasses and lope I'd have to say the case clamps are the first dead giveaway.
dbutlerman
There are issue with it, but I am with alligoat, it is impressive what the factories are doing...The movement will never be seen, well at least not seen by 90%+ of the customers and they've put a ton of work into this one piece....now if they could only figure out how to make a good pearl and center it in on the bezel....hmmmmm...I guess that is harder to do
hiker01
but the GMT IIc doesn't need a pearl? Not unless there's new version?
dbutlerman
@Hike - Sorry I was just referring to Pearls in general (Omega's, Rolex's...etc) Not the GMT IIc in particular....
munk
Yeah the movement construction pretty much 2836 base. but im sure in the future they can make the real clone. if they can with eta i'll bet they can do it with any other movement...haha

Shundi
The crown is in the "hack" position, Sir Touche- didn't even notice that! My apologies good sir.

Jkay
Touche- didn't even notice that! My apologies good sir. If "Trusty" is going to do long exposure lume shots, he should at least leave the crown screwed down and wait until the watch STOPS before taking the photo, like Pugwash does
