lanikai
For our Noobs and for those that want to upgrade their reps with bezel inserts.. acrylic pearls, crystals etc. Here is a very short list of Vendors, some,... on the bay that we often frequent. If you'd like to add on a source that you think could be of benefit, and can aid our members in their quest for a more accurate replica.. post them in this thread please and we can compile a listing that can be easily referenced. here's just a few vendors for those needed parts.. Nostalgia-2000 has recently come out with 5513 inserts, and with the best price.. they also have a new item.. vintage acrylic pearls... they are in sync with all the other vendors that sell these.. the pearl on the 5513 insert is incorrect.. ergo you have to purchase the acrylic pearl separately... Clarks tropics crystals are the closest to the genuine ..imo.. and widely used for our vintage mods also.... gilt hands etc. Here>Nostalgia-2000 Nostalgia competitor on the bay is ..Wholesale 990 .... his items are a little more expensive.. not necessarily better.. but another source for after market parts... the Clarks 11680 crystal is better imo. Here>Wholesale 990 Ofrei your source for ETA movements..genuine Omega parts.. inserts.. pearls.. watch oil.. gaskets.. silicone lub. .. polishing rouge.. Here>Ofrei Cousins UK .. Ofrei' counterpart in UK... eta 7750 date wheels.. etc. Here> Cousins UK Yuki's Watches for a better grade of inserts,, Case's will accept genuine .. dials, hands, riveted bracelets.. fyi.. their stock is not always up to par.. many times they carry only 1 or 2 of any part.. patience is key. Here>Yukis Watches Jewlryandwatch.com.... ND dials and cases.. hands.. pricey.. be prepared to laugh if you call Phong.. he is a character.. there are other ND vendors also.. Here>Jewelryandwatch.com Panatime.. Bob's straps... Panatime for anything Panerai.. screws, buckles.. straps.. tell him you are from RWG.. get a discount.. Bob's straps.. Pams, Breitlings... again tell him you are RWG and get a discount.. Both are RWG vendors.. Maratac.. imo .. the best quality for G-10 Nato straps.. also Zulu straps.. I have not run across better prices on the net for the G-10 Maratac than this vendor. Here>Broadarrow let's not forget our very own Offshore.. his store for tools and parts.. for those of you who just joined .. the basic tools are invaluable for our hobby.. and soooooo affordable.. we are not professionals..and these tools.. even a spring bar tool is much needed Here>Watch Bitz there are many more resources .. these are some of the most sought parts.. if you have a good source..for what the community needs that is not listed.. post um.. billy_bunter
Just a few from my favourites (I haven't used all of them though so YMMV): http://helenarou.com/ mainly homage stuff but good for projects https://www.watchtool.co.uk/ as it says really http://watchpart.co.uk/ sister site of the above, some genuine parts http://www.ioffer.com/users/offertoyou bracelets and some watch parts, bracelets seem goo quality http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/tryabidforit/ bracelets tools and parts for Tudor/ Rolex etc http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/parts4rolex/ the name gives it away And am I really the first to post this: Davidsen's photobucket
alligoat
A couple of others come to mind- Natalie over at NDTrading Corp, http://ndtradingcorp.com/zen/ Kinda expensive like Phong, but good selection of vintage rolex parts. Jewelryoutlet555 is the sister company to wholesaleoutlet990, http://myworld.ebay.com/jewelryoutlet555/ Good rolex inserts, but not always the best aftermarket parts- buy w/ caution. archibald
For dials, Ebay sellers Toumii (FM and Omega) and Watchco Australia (AP, VC, Omega, etc) are great. I've bought many dials from each. Seller natnat occasionally sells OEM panerai parts. Bought a Pam bracelet from this guythat was slightly better than standard rep and dirt cheap. Has anybody bought any hands for 40mm and/or 44mm PAMs that were better than standard rep hands? SL lumed aftermarket hands would be great if there is such a thing....
