I doubt that it has the correct hand stack, they have been a dud! Hope for NCHS. These are really nice watches. ihave one, and it gets quite a bit of wrist time.I don't see a whole lot wrong with these outside of the rehault engraving and the lack of AR under the cyclops.

I have a replacement bezel with the corrected colour..

true, no one really will notice the AR under the mag.. but as a "hobby" to get it, for lack of a better word.. more grammatically correct.. I have sent my crystal with the mag removed to chief.. it's on it's way back to me and I'll attach a gen cyclops on it, and then remove the ar all but from the bottom of the cyclops .. yes, it is a timely project.. and not really an essential part of the rep.. but as a hobby this is the fun part.. to get it as close to the genuine without outright buying a gen crystal..and it cost about 150 usd less

if it works these are the kind of projects that make wearing the rep more rewarding than buying the genuine... and since I have the CHS.. in for a penny... yada, yada......

Lani, $150 less than what? The gen xtal cost me $90 delivered (I cannot get any more, before anyone asks)

A beauty. Can you post a macro of the inner [censored] etchings between 7 & 11 o'clock. I would like to see how they are made & if the factory corrected (by any amount) the misalignment that has plagued all of the previous GMTIIC reps.

Freddy,

What is correct? I don't think I can get that close of a shot, but I can certainly check it for you.

Yeah but, 90 usd that was your deal Freddy.. not everyone can call in markers for that price..

I was wondering about what would happen to your "in box" when you first posted the gen crystal

None the less, this is a great looking watch Marty. These keep growing on me, but i'm cheap.

Well, I had ordered something else and canceled the order. A refund was not a option, so I ponied up the extra money and bought this. I didn't want to at the time, but I couldn't be happier ... incorrect hand stack and all :)

If you can get this close (close enough to reveal the text on your bracelet), that should be close enough. The same letter in the word ROLEX should align with each of the hour markers between 7 & 11 o'clock & they should be engraved & not laser etched (letters formed by smooth steely engravings & not dotted laser etches, which often leave the lettering dark).

The 'deal' I got was simply being able to order the xtal 'over the counter' without having to send a watch into RSC or 1 of their official agents. The price paid was retail.

You lost me?
