gran
http://www.omegawatches.com/ A must for a collector..and Canadians The ref# of the new Seamaster Vancouver model is: 212.30.41.20.04.001 and it features the Co-Axial cal. 2500. The classic Seamaster case is 41mm in diameter. Omega seems to have kept kept both, the color-scheme(s) of Canada's National Flag and the white shade(s) of a "winter" setting... both quite appropriate in this case...! but truth is never liked red in watches.... I must admit that I quite like the red color of the rotating bezel... the contrast between the white dial and the red (reportedly made of anodized aluminium - much like the Alaska Project's outer protective case) bezel. Coupled with the - by now - classic lines of this Seamaster model, it makes for a very nice & interesting watch! And with this announcement now "out of the way", enough room is left for many more interesting & intriguing (I hope !) announcements for this year's BaselWorld! Have a nice Sunday everybody! All the best Said Pete
Slartibartfast
It's not doing it for me. The colour scheme is a disaster. I think these Omega special editions are a bit cheesey TBH.
PeteM
I prefer the black face chrono with subdials one they have in the UK adverts I think its the new Aqua Terra GMT It has the Olympics Rings on it so I guess its an official watch as well

chrgod
Nah.. I prefer the 1994 Lillehammer Olymic Wintergames Seamaster! It was delivered in a box with five leatherstraps in the colors of the Olymoic rings. Quartz only, unfortunately. FxrAndy
Terrible, who designed this, there is no contrast, you would have to search for the hands to tell the time. Now imagine this with the same treatment as the rolly ex 2 white with black hands and marker surrounds, a far better watch! they may as well have printed the date wheel white on white also
Toadtorrent
I've seen the gen. I'm not a big fan of the red...but I have to say, the caseback is beautiful.
stilty
not a huge fan either... maybe just the movement. C.2500. Anyone in Vancouver should stop by the Hotel Vancouver. Omega has set up shop for the duration of the Olympics. But don't expect much in the way of museum pieces. But JoJo, if you are reading this, there is a guy from 5th Ave that is working there that we met.
StormTooper4
I reckon that Omega can't shift those older seamaster cases and are just trying to make a quick buck with some old dead stock . Why they couldn't have made one with a PO case and a red rubber strap is beyond me.
