hey bro

ZX 1 yeah thats definintly a drivers watch, hardcore :thumbsupsmileyanim: only needs another strap

I thought you might appreciate that one :D As you say, a decent leather strap, and it'd definitely look the business :tu:

Well.....the Daytonas are for driving......and driving fast, as the name implies, so here are my votes:

I just had an idea... Would the movement from a rep Monaco, be a compatible transplant into a Tudor Monte Carlo? :g:

Sinn U1,,,,,,the rep was so close I had to look carefully at my gen to make sure it was indeed a gen....this thing actually makes you want to learn how to really dive....

opps...how funny,,,I had dive watches on the mind.....and so I thought it was for a dive watch....not drive watch....I kept thinking....those aren't good dive watches...strange...

I don't know but I actually wouldn't mind a good Monaco rep with frozen stopwatch. Damn it's a great watch.

Lani is THE most politically correct person I know. :) If we were to see a photo of him, I would imagine he'd look like a giant teddy bear with muscleman arms... :thumbsupsmileyanim:

How 'bout the VC 1921 for a little retro look? You'd never have to take your hand off the wheel...

It's a tasty piece for sure, and a design classic :tu: The thing which made me wonder about the possibility of a movement transplant, is that on the reps, the crown is at the 3 position, and seeing the date window at 6, it got me wondering about if the movement mght fit to the Monte Carlo dial

Of course, the Chopard racing series, I'm partial to the GTXL, complete with tire track strap and fuel gauge power reserve.

The more I think about it the more I think that this:

must be the ultimate driver's watch. Regardless of the fact that it is called the "Moonwatch" it was designed for speed driving and measuring your progress in mileage. Definitely not for flying into space.
