omni
Any one seen this one yet? 4 belt treads driven by microprocessor motors. 2 hour battery life but can be charged wirelessly. At $15,000 USD, a very expensive toy watch. The video of it working is at their site. "www.devonworks.com"

Nanuq
Nice! And if you got the studded version of the belts you could attach it to the recovery point and get your truck out of a snowbank!

TeeJay
2 hours? That is really stupid. +1 Mechanically interesting, sure, but utterly pointless to have a watch which can only run two hours at a time ...
Member X
If Vertu can build a 'hybrid' phone that charges the battery using a traditional rotor system, why can't this one?!

Okay, I researched a little more, I was quoting from a couple of erred blogs, the actual run-time is 2 weeks on a single charge from their website. Ahhh, that's much more reasonable Two hours really wouldn't be much good in a watch at all, but two weeks is much better
