Member X
Sweet! Not the greatest pic lol but certainly shows how close it's getting I'm assuming gen on left? If so, and if I'm being reeeeeally picky... The rep dial 5 seems a little too 'fat' between the flat top and the curved bit, if you see what I mean?? Are the L SWISS MADE L letters a tiiiiny bit too tall? I'd agree that the 4 looks very slightly different, and would perhaps say that the 1's look a tiiiiny bit too narrow(?) Overall, though, I think it's so close now as to be virtually finished!! Can you get a photo of the lume to show how it sits above the face of the dial? I don't think we'll ever get the slightly recessed sandwich-dial effect of the gen but then that's only on the 249, and if this is tweaked and sold as the 1936 vintage version... R_Squared
For case, I will have it in the future. But I will prepare the hands for it definitely. Cheers, Paul Hey Paul, Can you put me on the list for one as well? I will also need the rest like the hands and caseset if you are doing them too. Also, any news on whether there will be a vintage version? If yes, will take that one as well. What is the size of the dial again?
Hongkytonkman
count me in as well. if going vintage , I'll take that also. as for the nictpicking stuff, the vintage cali dial's SWISS MADE is actually positioned closer to the rail index compared to the recent retro version
Rolexfinder
Sure, you are on the list. For the Vintage Cali dial, I was told from the maker that if I want to do the one without L SWISS MADE L, we can do it but why dont I use gen vintage dial as based to get as close as genuine. What do you guys think?

Just to check - is this going to be super-lumed? Or normal rep lume?
