bosk Posted June 16, 2010 Report Posted June 16, 2010 The sec at 9 got the pusher and crown not aligned like Gen, and I suppose that only there you can get Dubois-Depraz module , like gen. I never heard of a sec at 9 with un-aligned pusher and crown (unless the case was redrilled). The 7750 movement has them aligned and I have a couple of MWB too.
plaifender Posted June 16, 2010 Report Posted June 16, 2010 So has this watch lost it's chrono function if it's a 2892-2????
chiman12 Posted June 16, 2010 Report Posted June 16, 2010 The movement that the OP used was also called an LWO 283. They were common in B&M, Concord, Heuers, and Hamiltons. Because the crown position is not in the same plane as the pushers, the rep case must be thick enough for it to be redrilled in the proper position, . Here is an example of how just offset the crown is... I have a Concord with the LWO 283 and just don't have the heart to take it apart to make a franken AP. Great mod Daytona, glad to see someone did it!!!
Guest Daytona1984 Posted June 16, 2010 Report Posted June 16, 2010 of course not !!! that's the reason why the 2892 has the Dubois-Depraz module on top of it So has this watch lost it's chrono function if it's a 2892-2????
