ubiquitous Posted June 24, 2010 Report Posted June 24, 2010 If not, you guys should definitely check it out. Basically, it's a series of albums, each of which can be created by members. Within these albums, images of the watches in your collection can be uploaded. You can then add a link to your sig that links to your specific album where others can go and view what's currently in your watchbox. For example, here's my watchbox. Cool, no?
wheaton26 Posted June 24, 2010 Report Posted June 24, 2010 cool function. thanks for the heads up ubi!
Jkay Posted June 24, 2010 Report Posted June 24, 2010 I did not know about this. It's about time there was a photo gallery option here for users!
By-Tor Posted June 24, 2010 Report Posted June 24, 2010 Just uploaded all watches in my current collection there. Great feature.
krpster Posted June 24, 2010 Report Posted June 24, 2010 I was wondering what that was for. Very cool. Now just need to take some pics.
ubiquitous Posted June 24, 2010 Author Report Posted June 24, 2010 Actually, I believe it was By-Tor's idea!
Eton Posted June 24, 2010 Report Posted June 24, 2010 Cool, I just wanted to thank you for pointing it out! Big props to By-Tor
Jkay Posted June 24, 2010 Report Posted June 24, 2010 **Scratching head** .... can't see how to create a box and upload pics to it ...
By-Tor Posted June 24, 2010 Report Posted June 24, 2010 I would love to get the credit for the watchbox, but the idea was blatantly stolen from a gen forum.
Eton Posted June 24, 2010 Report Posted June 24, 2010 Contributed some of the box, great idea regardless of where it started! Thanks guys
Jkay Posted June 24, 2010 Report Posted June 24, 2010 Ok so I figured it out and opened my own box. Good fun for all.
Justasgood Posted June 24, 2010 Report Posted June 24, 2010 Cool? No, not cool. I don't see any of these watches in "My" watchbox :-) Nice feature and great "heads up" Ubi.
Nanuq Posted June 24, 2010 Report Posted June 24, 2010 Nice! So if I right-click your photos and do a "save as" then do your watches wind up in MY watch box?
OSRep Posted June 24, 2010 Report Posted June 24, 2010 WOW, never noticed! Thanks for pointing that out Ubi. Very cool watchbox too Does it have to contain watches you currently own? Or can you have past ones too?
