what2 Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 soon I will have the lack of skills to screw up movements too...
freddy333 Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 Good place to start (TZ school). Good luck.
what2 Posted September 3, 2010 Author Report Posted September 3, 2010 there is a nice little handwind movement in the box from Ofrei... happily ticking along... much like the cows in line at the packing plant.. blissfully unaware of the "adventures" that await. Should have ordered a spare movement at the start and save time later
Ronin Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 Welcome to the club. Did you go with the 2801 or 6497 movement kit?
what2 Posted September 4, 2010 Author Report Posted September 4, 2010 Es95 kit, they were out of 2801's, but I get access to both sets of lessons so once I get finished losing the parts from this one I will follow the eta lessons

Dizzy Posted September 4, 2010 Report Posted September 4, 2010 Sounds like you have a lot of confidence in yourself!!!! lol
what2 Posted September 4, 2010 Author Report Posted September 4, 2010 the trouble is that about the only time I have to work on watches is late at night, and I have no patience... Actually I have a bunch of non-working movements to practice on.
nakortheblue Posted September 4, 2010 Report Posted September 4, 2010 Same here. Signed up 1.5 years ago and movement is still BNIB...
