Utheman Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 She is the one who inspects every watch before it leaves my shop...very picky and doesn't miss anything... Luckily for her, she's got you on the payroll
rosnik Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 Ubi, but this Daytona is better than Gen!
HauteHippie Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 Whoa Nelly!!! And good to know about the reset detents.
ubiquitous Posted October 19, 2010 Author Report Posted October 19, 2010 Thanks for the very kind words, gents. Always appreciated! I'm as happy as a clam (errr... Oyster) with this one ticking away on the wrist. It's been in the works for a while now, but it's nice to be able to finally enjoy it! Got a few more things to do on it... Mostly cosmetic, but mechanically, it's done! Cheers! //ubi
dieselpower Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 Marvellous stuff. Something for all us Daytona fans to aspire to. Truly a magnificent piece, well done R and the Zigmeister.
Dizzy Posted October 20, 2010 Report Posted October 20, 2010 I'm as happy as a clam (errr... Oyster).... LOL nice one
Valty Posted July 26, 2011 Report Posted July 26, 2011 Very nice Daytona I will have the same specs on mine soon... but with a black dial Anyways, the silver dial looks soooo good ! Wear it in good health ! PS: the chrono hands not resetting to the zeros is a common problem if you don't push the reset button at it's maximum. Got 2 V72, and both are doing this !
Rolexaddict Posted July 26, 2011 Report Posted July 26, 2011 (edited) PS: the chrono hands not resetting to the zeros is a common problem if you don't push the reset button at it's maximum. Got 2 V72, and both are doing this ! the chrono hands -especially the hours counter at 6 - reset is only a matter of pusher lever length. No mystic, simple mechanic Edited July 26, 2011 by Rolexaddict
ubiquitous Posted July 26, 2011 Author Report Posted July 26, 2011 Boy, oh boy... is this one ever nice! Foreshadowing?
lhooq Posted July 27, 2011 Report Posted July 27, 2011 At least the bezel, I'm guessing. And knowing ubi, it's probably a Mk I plastic!
