slay Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 http://www.timezone.com/library/rdnotebook/200609195337 I cant believe someone would buy this watch. it looks worse than most reps I have seen so far!
Cameron Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 haah hard to even tell what time it is.. stuffs blended into all the gears looks like a wave of gears.
thomasng Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 When it first came out, I commented it looked like a cheap $20 Patek rep. It still does.
KB Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Far too busy, I wonder what PP were thinking of? Ken
SubFrog Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Yea, quite a confusing face... but, I like the sides of the case.
True-Stu Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 The case with the gold filigree is incredible! Too bad the see through movement is so damn busy. Stu
bklm1234 Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Agree. Technical isn't everything. How are you supposed to see the action of the movement. For a skeleton, I think a simple hand-wound is best. It's so satisfying to see the pallets and escape wheel move. Look at Tourbillon1801's 6497 skeleton. It's so clean, so elegant, and so easy to see most of the parts. I'm saving money to buy from Tourbillon1801. http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=11960
t Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 in future brand names will copy replica watches
got-it Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 If I saw that in person, I'd think it was a rep...
stac Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Interesting...lots of craftsmanship... Not my cup of tea though...just one question WHAT TIME IS IT ?
emuozz Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 When it first came out, I commented it looked like a cheap $20 Patek rep. It still does. I completly agree, tasteless watch :yucky:
