hda
is there a rep that can be worn while snorkeling??? or would you tell me forget about it and buy an orient mako??? is there one of the dealers that really test their watches for 3 to 5 atm??? thanks and i know that this question sounds naive but maybe there is one rep that works under water!!!! pls tell me about your experiences. thanks
Ronin
Build a SOXA. Seiko Reliability, Doxa looks. Actually, WM9 / BK Submariners, and MBW Sub/Sea-Dwellers are a safe bet. Just get them pressure tested at one of those "Mall" "Fast-Fix-It" watch repair places. They tend not to care about 'origin'.
Nanuq
I've never had my MBW 1665 leak a drop, and it's been in the water almost continually since 1997.
mastrmindalliance
I'd say in the right skilled hands just about any rep (except for Hublots) would be doable. In less skilled, but still skilled, hands any non-chronos without a HEV and with a screw down crown would be the best candidate. My Ploprof is good for 12ATM's. However, I can't go past recommending a Seiko as well. An orange or black monster should be at lest half the price of any super rep + 12ATM (snorkelling quality) waterproofing service by a professional. But what looks cooler than the [censored] badass Seiko Monster? If i ask in the other forums with the ass monkey moderators, will they tell me? What if I post a question that has been answered to death a thousand times, will I get the girls and friends that come with a badass Seiko Mnster dive watch? to the OP, we're just playing, but full credit for coinciding this question with the release of that video, I feel a meme coming

TeeJay
I'd risk any of my subs to dive with (to 'rated' depth) If I found it'd flooded once deck side again, I'd just chuck it over the side Nanuq-style, to look like a pimp "Yeah, I can afford to throw a Rolex to a watery grave..."
