Cheap gen Tudor sub build saga continues.. :)

Today I finished my other gen Tudor build, A tropical 7928 from 1967.

I think I got a very very rare dial because normaly you only see chapter ring tropical dials.

This one is a late rose dial without a chapter ring and the dial is creamy chocolate, perfect for a '67 Tudor 7928.

Text is very clear on the dial but difficult to capture on pictures.

Big bubble second hand, twinlock crown, FEF 390 silver caliber

The watch is also not polished, nice beveled lugs and look at the crownguards! Not rounded at all.

The crisis was a good plan to obtain al the parts but now all the Tudor/Rolex parts are rising again.

nice work!!!

My second rolex I ever bought was an old Snowflake. I traded it for a set of used Superswamper tires when I bought my first 4x4... Used Toyota 4-Runner. I wanted to lift it and get tires but I didnt have enough cash. Buddy at the tire store wanted my Sub and took it on trade. back then it was worth nothing.. Paid like $400 for it and it was worth maybe $800. Now they are worth the same as a rolex sub.

Stupid me.
