milesd Posted January 27, 2011 Report Posted January 27, 2011 First off I want to thank the following people for the work they did for this watch: PatronSaintofChainsaws - Tall bezel and thick case back merlin699 - Painted the dial and wax filled. Also sourced rivets and out of this world crystal Kent Parks - Amazing lume job on the dial and hands tik-toc-collectionist - welded the lugs and crown tube. Also aged the crown so it doesn't look right out of china T - Making awesome vintage hands rmcsherry - Making the fantastic dial Now on to the pics (I didn't setup my gear, so these are quicky photos, more will come later) Thanks to all those who helped me out!

eddiemonster Posted January 28, 2011 Report Posted January 28, 2011 Never been a fan of vintage Rad-style PAMs, but, this one has changed my opinion! Milesd, you should change your name to Midas!
milesd Posted January 28, 2011 Author Report Posted January 28, 2011 (edited) Never been a fan of vintage Rad-style PAMs, but, this one has changed my opinion! Milesd, you should change your name to Midas! hahaha, but you should really be complementing the people who did the work. I just assembled the piece (the easy part). Edited January 28, 2011 by milesd

Member X Posted March 3, 2011 Report Posted March 3, 2011 Is that an Athaya dial? I may have to shamelessly copy you as this is lush
mad_man_may Posted March 4, 2011 Report Posted March 4, 2011 Nice work, easy to see countless man hours have gone into this beauty!
milesd Posted March 7, 2011 Author Report Posted March 7, 2011 Is that an Athaya dial? I may have to shamelessly copy you as this is lush No, it's a Ross dial. I have an A dial ordered and will compare when it arrives.
siesta181 Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 I think the dots are rivet that was used in the construction of this particular dial. It had a plexi on top of the dial or something like that. Perhaps the more informed can chip in...
