Hello, I have been overhelmed from the look of vintage GMT 1675 especially old ones with patina and sed look. Is this replica from Trusty so wrong? Can I make some mods especially for glass? I'm not so concerned for let's say 99 or100% identical to genuine look. What else do u recomend counting that I I'm not able to do major mods bymyself

Thanks in advance

Get one of the new ExpII vintages. Swap out the dial and bezel for 1675 parts. Yuki dial for example.

The dial is only for a 1570 if you insist on using the dial feet. But you can cut the dial feet off and glue the dial to an eta movement. No big deal.

Whats up with the "modded" movement? I'm not bagging on the asia movement ($17 to replace is not bad), but whats really going on there? is it an Swiss ETA or the clone? What are the pros and cons.

That's an ETA with a bunch of decoration and a custom Rolex-style rotor. The decoration looks quite nice, actually. But still a 2836 or clone. Dead giveaways are the shape, size and placement of the reverser wheels and balance wheel, and the shape of the autowinding bridge.

It looks really nice though. Quite a lot of work went into it.

So Swiss made?

Not an expert but i think you need an adapter to fit the ETA into this case.

Don't know if the position of the stem will cause problems.

Might be an interesting route to built a decent 1675.

For present moment its not easy to built a decent gmt. Which modern gmt2 except ceramic is best with red blue bezel?
