cht Posted May 23, 2011 Report Posted May 23, 2011 I like this shot which shows the texture of the lume markers.
redwatch Posted May 23, 2011 Report Posted May 23, 2011 Wow! That's a beauty! What are the specs on this one?
DuDro Posted May 24, 2011 Report Posted May 24, 2011 Love it! The only Rollie rep model that I've kept in my collection.
highoeyazmuhudee Posted May 24, 2011 Report Posted May 24, 2011 thats a beaut' looks like a PT to me, but could easily pass for gen. good job
Jkay Posted May 24, 2011 Report Posted May 24, 2011 I agree. the left-justified datewheel tells all. Beautiful aging job you have done. Congratulations.

lhooq Posted May 25, 2011 Report Posted May 25, 2011 ^^^indeed, started out with a pt case/movement... ...but what an ending! Beautiful!
cht Posted May 25, 2011 Author Report Posted May 25, 2011 (edited) thanks guys! Acutally, this is the NDT dial with their lume. I must admit that the texture on the lume is better than my pbdad 1665. Disappointlingy, and $165 later, pb's lume application is smooth and looks like marshmellows on my dial. The biggest thing that attracted me to this dial was the font. Though it's not perfect, it was a large step ahead of the pt and mbw dial. I just fell in love with that little detail as most of us have our biggest pet peeves, and poor dial font had become mine at the time. The second to last photo highlights this small detail. I think i want to look up and find jmb to get a retaining ring made, just for better contruction sake. Does anyone know if the pt bezel will fit JMB's ring? Edited May 25, 2011 by cht
asf Posted May 25, 2011 Report Posted May 25, 2011 Sorry to post this question here, was the NDT dial a direct fit to the case or did the case/new dial had to be modified?
cht Posted May 26, 2011 Author Report Posted May 26, 2011 No need to apologize, this is exactly what the forum was intended for. It was a direct fit.
