Richard Tracy
Thus far I have received answers from four different dealers... One says $240 is his lowest. Another, says $210, but must deliver to one location in bulk for redelivery. Third, says Yes on $210, and has 30 in stock ready to deliver. 4th says also $210 lowest, but will do hand inspections to clear up the chip paint dial flaw. Richard Tracy
We need at least 25 orders to obtain this price. Ready for a count ? Does anyone know if King's are like WoMart's or EL's ?? http://www.cclv.net/NEW%20ITEM-2005.htm

davethecat
I'm in on option 4. I really want to have the dial looked at before its shipped.
chronology1066
Hand inspection would be nice, if we can hit near the $180 I would certainly be interested. Though AR coating......... stop it now........ Oh and I also need extra links 7.5 wrist.
Viennawatch
I think $200 is the realistic figure to shoot for, however hand inspections double the postage and time factors, which are against the very nature which makes group buys beneficial for both buyer and seller. It would make more sense to make sure we select a dealer that quickly addresses problems.... Regarding Fonts, we should not expect any changes in the near future with these models, however, if it really bothers you that much, date fonts can be replaced via other means, thanks to the geniuses we have here at rwg.... Sure its possible to have things replaced by the geniuses. And not to try and kill the business for them, but I think it would be a whole lot cheaper for EVERYONE involved if the dealers were convinced to get certain obvious things fixed to make it look better and then pay the same price of 160 to 200 bucks than pay that already with the mistakes and then having it sent for mods which costs another 10 to 20 for shipping and another 50 to 100 or more for modding... I dont know people... I'm going to wait until this baby is at least 95% perfect!

Good thing it's not that big of an issue with me, and I already consider this rep at 95%. and it could turn out to be like the Gst, a One generation, Keeper. Richard Tracy
any idea if any of of the dealers will be able to supply extra links? I will inquire, however if not, I am willing to give extra links away,.. as my wrist is not on the large side. Anyone else willing to do this just in case ? longshot
I got mine yesterday and accidentally wore it into an AD!!! I went by a local jewlrey store that stocks Rolex, Omega, Pam and Breitling just too look around and disovered that they now stock IWC The salesman was all over me and as helpful as can be and complimented me on my 'taste in watches' more than once. I did not hang around long, had to pick up my wife anyway, but anyone who thinks this rep is not good enough yet must expect perfection. It actually looks much better today after a good scrubbing and a polishing with Flitz and it's running +3 seconds in over 24 hours

dvn
Hello Gang... Seeing that this new Ingenieur has turned out to be one of the best Iwcs to come along,... What price would induce you to grab one ? Let me know and I will see what I can do... Hey kevin, Here you go again another group buy. Before jumping on it i have a question. How does this compare to IWC Portuguese Chrono-Automatic in term of accuracy?
Typhoon
Hey RT--it seems that there are alot of members here that are willing to buy the Ing if the price is around 180 bux delivered--and i'm sure your contacts are reading this thread and can see that fact. Richard Tracy
Hey Gang,.. Well we have the best offer so far,.. Personal Hand Inspection..$210 Shipped, worst case scenario, though I am trying to get it lower... Forget $180 though.. that's not realistic... Let's keep this fair for all involved. I am also trying to find out the extra cost, if any, for additional links.. What I need now however is for everyone to post a confirmed reservation...25 people at least... I am in for one.... 1. jfreeman420
I have never done a group buy before, so I am in for one. I have to pay Western Union though. Is that ok?
