coolwatchdude Posted October 12, 2011 Report Posted October 12, 2011 amazing collection. Does your Don Ramon say "Don Bamon"? do you know when or if the dealer will fix this? It's one on my wish list but that case back is deterring me. 2
edgematic1 Posted October 13, 2011 Report Posted October 13, 2011 The Don Ramon has been fixed for a while. Just ask your dealer for the latest version.
mm..mm Posted October 13, 2011 Report Posted October 13, 2011 The caseback is fixed but has the dial been updated?
Legend Posted October 14, 2011 Report Posted October 14, 2011 Speaking of the Don Ramon, I understand the dial is supposed to be a "chestnut brown" color according to the official AP description. It looks more like Grey to me honestly. Can someone clarify what the color of the gen dial should be, and how close the rep is? Thank you very much
mm..mm Posted October 21, 2011 Report Posted October 21, 2011 Any update on the dial of that amazing piece I wish they updated it
zaza Posted October 21, 2011 Report Posted October 21, 2011 Couple of pics of Don Ramon on the HKT How does the brown dial feel like Samurai? It's the only thing that keeps between me and this beauty
zaza Posted October 21, 2011 Report Posted October 21, 2011 amazing collection. Does your Don Ramon say "Don Bamon"? do you know when or if the dealer will fix this? It's one on my wish list but that case back is deterring me. Couldn't have put it better myself. So is t fixed? I also think there is something dubious about the face color. I've seen different pictures. The dial looks different in each one of them. A lighting thing maybe? I'd love to see it on black rubber. Will probably look as sexy as the brown strap. 1
Samurai Posted October 24, 2011 Author Report Posted October 24, 2011 The Don Ramon looks darkish brown and does seem to change color depending on lighting. The dial flaw is that the AP logo should be in gold. Overall it's an awesome watch.
Fleet Posted October 24, 2011 Report Posted October 24, 2011 HKT = Aaron? Im ordering a rep AP ROO safari, and I'd like a new hornback strap for it aswell. Does he have a website?
jeffw69 Posted October 24, 2011 Report Posted October 24, 2011 As far as I know, he doesn't have a website. His hornbacks run $269 and he accepts paypal. Shoot him an e-mail and see if he has a pic for you of the Safari strap, aarontanhk@hotmail.com Jeff
Miocrow Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 You have all the cool APs imo AP limited editions are by far the best looking watch ever in my book!
ExtraExtra Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 What a collection! Must have cost you a pretty penny. Do you wear them and rotate?
siesta181 Posted November 28, 2011 Report Posted November 28, 2011 I have always liked the look of the APs especially the Don Ramon but .......
Samurai Posted November 28, 2011 Author Report Posted November 28, 2011 I did put the Don Ramon on rubber and it looks really nice. Will post some pics soon.
greekgod Posted November 28, 2011 Report Posted November 28, 2011 Do you want to sell the strap you took off?
Greddyl30pjg Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 Hi there, nice collection. Can i just ask, does the diver wear slightly smaller than the chronos? Am i right in saying its a little slimmer? Only own pams- no AP's yet but really fancy the diver but, althought they're 42mm they do look like chunky watches ...hopefully not too chunky. Can anyone tell me how they wear in comparason to say a pam 090 or 024??
ryanwayer Posted January 10, 2012 Report Posted January 10, 2012 Very Nice Collection, Hopefully will have the updated Dial for RB2 asap
knarfster Posted January 17, 2012 Report Posted January 17, 2012 What. no Royal Oaks? Just Offshores?
Buddalondon Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 Phat Collection!! Congrats. How do you ever choose what to wear in the morning? I'd have to take a few with me so I could change in the day!!
