pics are different, look at the sel fitment to see. might be same watch though. Saw the gen today actually, nice watch. I actually prefer the new explorer 1, as they had that too

I'm curios about the so called Ar coated crystal. Have they done the cyclops? or all of it! I wonder.

Bezel font isn't bold enough...

the engraved hour numbers on the bezel are totally wrong.

it seems they same fonts like the old version

new gen explorer has fatter numbers

The edges of the minute hand are toooo narrow compared to the Gen. The bezel looks better than the one that PT has.

The real major miss, the 24 hr hand on the white dial is the hand for the black dial. The white dial is all orange while the black dial has a half black half orange shaft. In this case, PT's offering is correct.

I got mine from another TD, this is the Asian21J version. It looks like the AR was done only on the datemag and not the whole crystal. This is a nice watch for the money ($118 + pp + shipping).

The only thing what bothers me are the hands being totally off. The hands make the watch IMO.
