lantis Posted August 12, 2011 Report Posted August 12, 2011 Anyone noticed? Andrew and Joshua's page are missing
hiker01 Posted August 12, 2011 Report Posted August 12, 2011 YT finally got a whiff that there site is being used for illegal activity..................
maxman Posted August 12, 2011 Report Posted August 12, 2011 Thats strange, seems to be a lot of rep videos on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2EIGcVeXmI&feature=related
Noel Fleischer Posted August 12, 2011 Report Posted August 12, 2011 Probably wasn't such a great idea in the first place. Do we really need everything on Facebook, Twitter, You Tube?? They can just send me the QC pix via email.

Rolexman Posted August 12, 2011 Report Posted August 12, 2011 let's keep it underground PS: WTF is that Twitter symbol doing in my full editor....
maxman Posted August 12, 2011 Report Posted August 12, 2011 let's keep it underground PS: WTF is that Twitter symbol doing in my full editor.... I agree
crossbones Posted August 12, 2011 Report Posted August 12, 2011 let's keep it underground +100000000000000000
rek001 Posted August 12, 2011 Report Posted August 12, 2011 My go-to when I'm thinking of getting a rep - watchcollecterhk, his videos are still up.
andreww Posted August 12, 2011 Report Posted August 12, 2011 You really think our hobby is underground? Google any model of popular watch and check the images section. A good amount of those images are of the very watches we get from our dealers. It may have been underground when I started in this hobby but it certainly isn't anymore.
txcollector Posted August 12, 2011 Report Posted August 12, 2011 I think they went overboard adding their logo, etc as business venture. Most rep vids on YT are kind of amateurish, no logo and many don't even call it a replica.
Beginningatdawn Posted August 12, 2011 Report Posted August 12, 2011 repmake88's channel is still up and strong.
lantis Posted August 12, 2011 Author Report Posted August 12, 2011 Thats strange, seems to be a lot of rep videos on youtube. my bad, I guess only them got the axe? Now that's weird...

I agree with you Andreww, the rep hobby Is not really "underground" now days. But In my world there are very few people that no much If anything about reps. Outside of the rep community all I find Is Inacurate Infomation/Ignorance. Most of those I have talked to seem to think a replica watch Is some cheep pos that cost $25.00 In China town. I hope It stays that way. To be honest most of the people I know or run Into dont know much about Gens either. Mike
KB Posted August 12, 2011 Report Posted August 12, 2011 Also agree with Andreww our hobby has long since passed the 'Underground' tag, I think what authorities aim for now is to keep us 'Contained' Vids on Youtube are nothing on the gold mine people find here. Ken
Jos Nana Posted August 13, 2011 Report Posted August 13, 2011 Again . This is a sabotage attempt. .... I am very sure who it is.... Both our accounts get hit at the same time... while his is still working !! Go figure !!
andreww Posted August 13, 2011 Report Posted August 13, 2011 Thats what happens when you are the top dog Josh, everyone is out to get ya. Sorry to hear about this latest setback though, I really thought the vids were a great enhancement.
Jkay Posted August 13, 2011 Report Posted August 13, 2011 I agree the videos were a huge help. I used to think that AP was a big hunk of crap but seeing them move around in the presenter's hand on the video made me appreciate their design.
treadmark501 Posted August 13, 2011 Report Posted August 13, 2011 that's a shame for Josh & Andrew... back stabbing is so common in the business world.
slask111 Posted August 13, 2011 Report Posted August 13, 2011 I agree. When im using google to sheck out a gen i have a hard time finding them. Most are reps! I do like the videos that som dealers supply, but maybe its enough to post them on the dealer page and not YT? Anyways, if you guys continue with the videos.. pls add a Wristshot so that we can se how they look on a wrist. Cheers

Hosting videos on your own host = more bandwidth, and of course, more expensive hosting
