MJC
Sick, but the plate is still not skeletonized :/
Watchmeister
The piece de resistance would be to CDG the backplate for viewing through the dial. Then you have a kick ass rep.

Breitfuture
Isn't this the same "upgrade" movement used in the newer APs?

I might have to join you on this one. Isn't this the same "upgrade" movement used in the newer APs? That is what I thought too.

sul
You can buy cheap Fantasy AP RB instead or wait for good one with better date window This is best of cheap AP RB IMHO :
ryanwayer
the DW is updated but the movement didn't...still has a apparently big flaw.
greekgod
the DW is updated but the movement didn't...still has a apparently big flaw. so what is the apparent big flaw with the movement mate?
greekgod
The piece de resistance would be to CDG the backplate for viewing through the dial. Then you have a kick ass rep. Hey W, what do u mean by CDG the back plate? thx
Imaknockov
so what is the apparent big flaw with the movement mate? The fact that while the dial is skeletonized, the top plate of the movement is not, so the gears and innards are not visible through the dial as they should be. The movement itself is fine in terms of functionnality.

fotoman
I wear mine all the time. I agree the see through is overkill of worry in "the wild". First, this is so limited edition. You. Could go for the rest of your life without meeting someone who has ever seen one in person. The mag is a little more, but, it's just not something that pops out. It's a very cool piece, I recommend AR coating.

vilius69
The piece de resistance would be to CDG the backplate for viewing through the dial. Then you have a kick ass rep. Yannou
Who can do this mod? I am in considerations whether to get one or not... Domi for sure
squashlovernk
No, Domi does NOT do the CDG plate. He ONLY does the addition of the screws to the dial (dial mod) BUT not the CDG plate. ONLY Sander was successful in doing that mod as of yet and I have not seen another with that mod on any of the boards since. I am sure it could be done from a competent watchmaker/modder but it seems to take ALOT of work and time which is why most will probably not take on the work UNLESS compensation was worth the frustration. greekgod
Can someone plz explain what CDG Mod is??
Watchmeister
CDG- Think of it as 3d "striping" the back plate. On this particular model the back plate peaks out from behind the basket weave.
