Ephry73 Posted April 11, 2012 Report Posted April 11, 2012 Latest and only. Gen black with gen blue insert. Whose dial and hands? E
gavidoc Posted April 11, 2012 Report Posted April 11, 2012 100% Gen Tudor Snowflake 9411. I had to put a Clarks crystal on it though as I cracked the original. I'll replace that when I send the watch in for an appraisal at my AD.
highoeyazmuhudee Posted April 11, 2012 Report Posted April 11, 2012 creamy snowflake a yuki case i presume, how long ago did you get that case?
Merlin Posted April 11, 2012 Report Posted April 11, 2012 a yuki case i presume, how long ago did you get that case? I bought it about 3 months ago directly from yuki. Is there a certain reason for your question?
highoeyazmuhudee Posted April 12, 2012 Report Posted April 12, 2012 I bought it about 3 months ago directly from yuki. Is there a certain reason for your question? well to be quite honest i was hoping to buy one of those cases thinking the problem with the rehaut had been resolved, but after seeing it and you confirming it was a yuki case that was bought 90 days ago i see that the problem persists despite others speculating to the contrary.

I always wanted to build such a 7928 CR but I'm still searching for a nice dial. http://www.network54.com/Forum/207673/message/1288991613/FS-+Rolex-Tudor+Submariner+7928+gilt+chapter+ring+dial+from+1965 http://www.ebay.com/itm/170790973849

predfan2001 Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 (edited) It's a T39 I got from Helfands. The pearl sucked so I removed it since the pics. Edited April 17, 2012 by predfan2001
vlydog Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 Thanks the t39 looks much taller than when it sits on the 1665 mid-case
Tagman26 Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 Oh nice thread!!! I'll post some of my gen Tiger Tudor soon... Trying to get my iPhone to get a good photo.
predfan2001 Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 is that a josh case predfan? The 7928 is the new one available thru most TDs. I got this one from Trusty and changed the crystal, bleached an eBay bezel and aged the markers. The case is the type with the stubby cgs and the plastic crystal ring. I do like the drilled lug holes but they are too small. I opened them up a little. The 94010 is a franken I recently purchased. I think that is a case like the ones from Josh. The cgs are better on this one than the 7928 rep.
woof* Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 What the heck...I'll do a blue Tudor drive-by!
Tagman26 Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 Wow that Blue snow flake is amazing. Great picture as well..
TeeJay Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 I love the Snowflake with the black dial and blue insert, it reminds me of a French Navy Snowflake I first saw when I first started getting into reps. I still have Snowflake build in the works, but I'm now seriously considering going with the blue insert as well
curlflash Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 My little gen Tudor (1962) with California dial (7965 case)
