r8247 Posted December 12, 2011 Report Posted December 12, 2011 No. Seriously. I've been on numerous forums over the years. Everything from auto to audio to musical instruments. This has to be "the" most informative, educated and helpful community I've every visited. Well behaved, educated, genuinely nice and sophisticated crowd. No fights, no bans and no "e-penis" contests. In my opinion it has to do with the nature of the hobby or interest to sort of speak. It just draws a more mature and sophisticated crowd in general. Not the testosterone fueled teenagers and 20 some year olds who knows no compromise. Anyways. It's just an observation I've made over the last couple of weeks as an "outsider" sort of speak. Have a safe and happy holiday everyone ! Cheers. I'll keep on reading and keep myself educated in the mean time
deltatahoe Posted December 12, 2011 Report Posted December 12, 2011 just kidding of course. welcome to RWG -- it really is one the most amazing (and easily accessible) resources out there. at first you will probably feel like you are drinking out of a firehose (especially with regard to PAM model numbers and various abbreviations), but worry not -- you will soon find yourself right at home (and nitpicking every little detail on the reps you end up purchasing ). thanks for introducing yourself; don't hesitate to jump right in and join the discussion deltatahoe
Watchmeister Posted December 12, 2011 Report Posted December 12, 2011 Glad to hear it. Many of us don't spend a lot of time on other forums so it is always nice to hear. In any case, glad you are here and enjoy the ride.

KB Posted December 12, 2011 Report Posted December 12, 2011 Oh don't worry watch forums can have drama's too. We like to think we have found a happy medium in how this board is run. Ken
HartDoc Posted December 12, 2011 Report Posted December 12, 2011 (edited) The only problem here on RWG is that no one will tell me...... Who has the best sub. Edited December 12, 2011 by HartDoc
lhooq Posted December 13, 2011 Report Posted December 13, 2011 Who has the best sub. Rolex! Huh-huh, lol noob!!! I sometimes see RWG disparaged as being the forum whose members are obsessed with genuine Rolex springbars. Maybe I've been here too long, but... Is that a bad thing?
Nanuq Posted December 13, 2011 Report Posted December 13, 2011 Hey my springbars are bigger than yours, dude. Seriously, welcome aboard!
upland Posted December 14, 2011 Report Posted December 14, 2011 Hey my springbars are bigger than yours, dude. Seriously, welcome aboard! Yeeees, but they shrink more in a$$ freezing environment
