What to do with a trashed 1665 midcase?

Just wanted some interesting ideas with what to do to a 1665 midcase with badly drilled lug holes .

I guess the only option out there that was suggested by JMB was to fit fixed bars into the watch, but as I search there's no gen with a 1665 case with fixed lugs.

Any other ideas guys?

Thanks

Throw it in the watch box and forgett about it.

Then in 20years you will show your kids what a great watchsmith/modder you was when you were a punk :D

It's nice to know that I'm not the only one...

Maybe. I tried this method of repair, but haven't finished it.

I haven't tried to polish it to see if it can be made invisible. I wasn't prepared to buy a big roll of the solder, but did find a small kit by the same manufacturer, same flux and one size bigger solder for under $10.

6228029-11.jpg Part number is Stay-Brite SBSK.

I've never been very good at soldering, and this was my only attempt. Someone could likely do a much better job.
