redwatch
I was browsing through my photobucket earlier and found that I have had quite the collection of watches in my short time here at RWG. I figured it would be fun to put them all together in a single post These are not in any particular order, but the progression of photo quality is pretty funny to me. I will start from the more recent ones to the earlier ones: IWC Portuguese Regulateur This is the watch that originally had me find RWG in the first place. I saw a rep of this back in 2009 in a store in Downtown LA but passed on it. Ever since then I have been wanting one. This particular one is quite unique in that it has been modified. Francisco combined this watch with another IWC F.A. Jones in order to get the more accurate bridge plates. The unique thing about the regulator style watches is the separation of the hour, minute & seconds hand. Each one gets its own register and this arrangement really stands out. I have gotten more compliments on this watch than any other that I own. UPDATE: Just got this back from the Zigmeister. Had it serviced so now it has a 60 hour power reserve. Ziggy also stripped the blue hands so they are now silver as per the gen. Panerai PAM 390 Ti Custom Ordered this one from Josh when he started offering custom H-Factory PAMs. Build consists of a PAM 390 Dial & Hands, PAM 177L Case Set & Case Back, and the beautifully soft PAM 247 Ferretti Strap. Simply a stunning build that I truly believe Panerai should make a gen version of! Vacheron Constantin Overseas Deep Stream This is quite the unique rep. Very accurate, very comfortable and quite stunning to look at. SS case & bracelet and a Titanium Bezel that has been bead blasted. The radial pattern on the slate grey dial is also quite stunning to look at. And the wrist shot: Stølås Harbormaster Spinnaker This is quite a unique piece. First introduced to me when vlydog posted a link to a website called "Bless This Stuff". They had a little preview of it and since, at the time, my birthday was coming up, I decided to go for it. They had a limited run of 125 pieces with an introductory offer and it was quite reasonable. They had a few different options with it, including additional straps and either a nicely engraved case back or a sapphire case back. I opted for all the extra straps and the solid, engraved caseback. It is quite large, same size as my PAM at 44mm. The lume is extraordinary I must say. By far one of the most unique lume applications I have seen yet. Rolex GMT IIc This is quite a unique one. This is a custom BK GMT Iic with a ETA 2893-2 true jump hour GMT movement. This one took a very long time to complete as it was quite difficult to source the green GMT hand that would fit the 2893. Re-lumed by Ziggy and a Chieftang AR'd cyclops installed. IWC Ingenieur Picked this one up from FxrAndy who had it modded. Incredible re-lume by FineDD including luming the small numerals around the inner bezel as per gen. Double AR on the crystal and the Lello date wheel make this piece a true super rep! Tag Heuer Aquaracer Chronograph 500m Rolex 14060 (JMB Custom) Panerai PAM 112m (H-factory) Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean (45.5mm UPO) Bell & Ross BR-03 Aviation Tag Heuer Aquaracer 500m BK Noob GMT II Master Pepsi Cartier Santos 100 (Ultimate Version) Seiko Samurai Breitling SuperOcean Steelfish Bell & Ross BR-03 Vacheron Constantin Overseas Rolex Submariner LV (BK - not WM9) Panerai PAM 112H Omega Seamaster 2220.80 Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Omega Seamaster 300 (Vintage) Ebel 1911 Discovery (Panda)
