Adeodatus
Paper architecture by Sant'Elia Yes, I'm that guy... I find rectangular watches to be masculine and practical. They look like true machines to me and remind me the futuristic Boccioni sculptures, Marinnetti's and Mazzoni's architecture and paintings of Natalia Goncharova. An era of man, who admired machine-like architectural environments and riding a motorcycle as a true integration of men and machines. There aren't that many beautiful rectangular watches out there and even fewer reps. In the past I owned Oris Rectagular Titan, which I bought for a very cheap price, but unfortunately I had to let it go. This is something I regret to this day and will definitely consider this watch again for the right price. I think it would be interesting to see other rectangular watches you guys own, gen or reps. Are there any good reps for rectangular watches you can recommend?
Jkay
Franck Muller replicas are mostly rectangular, and gen dials are not that hard to find. Conquistador? Long Island? Crazy Hours?
Adeodatus
Yeah, Franck Muller are great watches and the replicas seem to be accurate, right? But they are more of a oh-my-gosh-you-just-spilled-the-chateau-on-my-gucci-shoes kind of watch and the font they use on their dials is too cartoonish for my taste. Do you know what I'm saying? maxman
My favorite is probably the Cartier Santos with the Swiss eta 2824. Im not big on rectangular watches..but do like the Santos...I also like that Oris and Flying B. Mike

freddy333
Some of them are nice, but I think they are best worn under more formal circumstances

chrgod
Tag Heuer Monaco immediately springs to mind when discussing rectangular watches.. Still waiting for a decent replica.
watchguy51
I generally dislike rectangular watches, but the 1931 re-issue Reverso really is a beauty
HPoirot
The Santos 100 is a great rep. Iconic too.
jeff g
All of the watches mentioned in this thread are beautiful. Franck Muller Reverso Santos Flying B I own a number of them, but my favorite is the 1931 Reverso. Truly one of the most beautiful watches ever made. But there are even more classic rectangular wrist watches...Genta designs, like the Nautilus. All of these watches can be worn informally as well as formal. Much depends on the strap choice. OldCorvette
When they make a decent Heuer / Camaro rep I will be buyer number 1. I've seen a few crapezio ones..I'd even consider quartz if it came wrapped in that sexy Camaro wrapper.
marblegranite
Where can I find a decent replica for any of the watches on this thread? I've been looking at several sites from trusted dealers but I'm finding it hard to tell by the pictures how good the quality of the replicas really are.
