rosnik
When did i bring case size into it, and i know that there is no SEL on a 14060 but Rosnik thinks there is. No, I didn't write that exist the 14060 with SEL only. Are there around GEN 14060 with folding last link types too. But, ( IMO ) the types with lugholes and SEL ( like last 14060 ) and 14060M, on my opinion, are sure best. Now... I hope you can understand my writing. As cib0rgman said: There is no such watch. The 14060 and 14060M never got SEL.
2671
I'm a bit suspicious of this TC Submariner, to be honest. Too many things look identical to the old WM9 watches for my comfort. He has shown a WM9 case before, and the 2678 is the old WM9 v2 movement. Personally, I'd much rather pay a small premium to BK (who I trust) than send $400+ to a new builder who has not yet delivered a single watch. In time that may change, but it's not going to change overnight. Second that! If it's truly a V3 case with correct gen 3135 crown height, fitting a 2678 in it? Where is the "receiving hole" as per gen or V3 cases shown in this 2678 case? TC could you explain? BK has earned his respect over the years, no doubt about it. justlounging
I just found this old thread from BK in RG..not too sure if it helps here but seems like BK has gone this route before.. http://repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=44921 & another review: http://repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=45190 Both show the usage of the ETA 2678 and even the movement mount are similar as this..
