fidhle007
You need a high quality puller and good crystal press. And a good bit of practice so you don't mess up your case... :-)

dan_189
Interesting, I might just take it to my local watchsmith didn't think I'd be able to put the crystal back on but I thought it wouldn't be too difficult to get it off, damn lol
dan_189
Guys I got the crystal and retaining ring off Quick question, is there anything that can be done so the TC v3 sits flush to the case on the back? Has anyone tried any aftermarket bracelets and used a TC clasp? Pic is from another members TC v3 (Hope they dont mind )
its_urabus
That end link sticks out more than mine. Looks more like a v2 almost. Personally I wouldn't touch the backside of the sel. The front and fit is nice
dan_189
When I test fitted mine its was similar to that but I didnt have the spring bars in, ill post up a pic soon as I can
dan_189
Has anyone fit a Gen braclet to a Sean case? What sort of results did it achieve?
its_urabus
There was someone that fit a gen to the sean. The gen sel is 20mm while the Sean case is 20.13 ish. There is a gap that is just no good.

dan_189
Thank you for interesting write up! About Etaswiss/ Gen 93250 , On my Sean's 16610 Case, the GEN 93250 fit without problem. I suppose it's your single case problem . Hey do you have any pics of this?
its_urabus
I think it's known that Sean's case, and any case that's not from Rolex, will vary in dimension at the lug. I know mine is 20.13-20.14 as measured by vac. I remember bk building a Sean up and his was closer to 20 but it wasn't 20.0. The gen 93250 fits and the spring bars clicks in perfectly on the Sean case. However I do think a gap at the side of the endlink will exist unless you get really lucky. dan_189
So I just measured my case its around 20.1mm (with a ruler) so don't know how accurate that is
its_urabus
you really need digital calipers, the differences are that small. I have an old set of analog calipers and it only read 20.1 on mine. unless the postman forgets how to get to my house, I should have my build back from the spa tonight. I will post some pics somewhere...

its_urabus
@ DC I love that flat 4 LV insert! I had zig mill my cannon pinions so that I could use my gen hands. turned out amazing. If you cant swing a 3135 consider doing the cannon milling. gen hands are the cats meow.... watcher
I'm tempted to this as I now have all the gen parts for my lv incl. dial and hands but cannot justify a gen 3135 and who knows when the v2 3135 will surface or if it will be any better than the first one! dan_189
I do need a set of digital Calipers! @dcpark87 did you ever take any test fit pics of the gen bracelet with the Sean case by any chance? @watcher a gen LV dial would have set you back some coin! But awesome you have one
watcher
Dial was 450euro which was not too bad and is a late series dial. Have seen them much more but patience paid off.

dan_189
Anyone compare the Sean to the Phong case? Or anyone have any pics of the no lug hole phong 16610?
folex
I would say gen bezel is on the right due to the deeper engraved teeth and different slope. +1 for gen bezel on the right.
fidhle007
I made a discovery recently once I had a chance to get a TC and a Sean case side by side: The lug ends are wrong on the TC case. They should be square like the Sean case on cases without lugholes and the tapered style that the TC uses would be correct for a lughole/93150 watch.
