jeff g Posted March 2, 2012 Report Posted March 2, 2012 HERITAGE w/mesh strap. Blackbird w/ hornback alligator.
chronoluvvv Posted March 2, 2012 Report Posted March 2, 2012 if I had to have only one Breitling, it would DEFINITELY not be a rep
collector26 Posted March 3, 2012 Report Posted March 3, 2012 (edited) BCE Graphite. As good as it gets Edited March 3, 2012 by collector26
rogerthat Posted March 3, 2012 Report Posted March 3, 2012 Bce as well but blue or black for me like the greater contrast between dial and sub dial than on the graphite personally Baton sticks over Arabic dial
hackR Posted March 3, 2012 Report Posted March 3, 2012 the Blackbird...a pure sexy hunk of brushed metal...
dmacnz Posted March 3, 2012 Report Posted March 3, 2012 Decent navitimer!!! Hopefully in the making now!
By-Tor Posted March 3, 2012 Report Posted March 3, 2012 I have only one Breitling rep left, and Skyland v2 takes the cake.
maxman Posted March 3, 2012 Report Posted March 3, 2012 For me It's the Seawolf.....especially the yellow. Now that the new Steel fish Is out...I feel the SW will be soon to follow. Pics by member Bazz
krpster Posted March 3, 2012 Report Posted March 3, 2012 SOH hands down. Pure elegent yet sporty design. Diversity, you can dress it up or down. Overall a very practical and awesome watch. Plus the rep if you can get a V2 is outstanding.
Ctbob Posted March 3, 2012 Report Posted March 3, 2012 Just wondering.... Does the band run on the small or large side.. I have an 8" wrist. Thanks
mrboombasteke Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 SOH v2 because of its near perfect replication. But the Skyland Avenger has to be another favorite.
kramerica2 Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 Easy question. SOSF. It has nothing to admire from the technical POV (rep or gen), but IMO it's the best looking watch in the world. And I'm an Omega fan.
maxman Posted March 7, 2012 Report Posted March 7, 2012 SA all the way. Pretty hard for me to argue against the SA...dresses up very nice on leather. Pic by Shultz. Mike
smc Posted March 7, 2012 Report Posted March 7, 2012 Blacksteel. I have a B1 and will buy a gen SA soon. Won't spend the money on a watch that can't be polished even though I really like the design.
Dave123 Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 if I had to have only one Breitling, it would DEFINITELY not be a rep LOL,they are just not the same. Nothing like the real thing, worth every penny. For temp. toys while trying to figure out the right gen,the V3 BCE's are good. Once use to a Breit though, the SA will be the way to go. I have worn my gen almost daily for 5 years. Owned almost every decent rep Breit before it too.
By-Tor Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 @Dave: v2 BCE was better. v3 had perfect date but green chewing gum-like hour markers. When I saw the gen, it killed that rep for me forever. It's simply not one of those watches that you can rep very well. It gets "close" like the Fish but the dial and bracelet details make a world of difference. Skyland is much better forgery, imho... I've seen the gen and v2 with treated bracelet compares very well. People have always complained about the Skyland hour markers but you can barely see them with naked eye (unless they're from very bad example). BCE sloppy hour markers are HUGE. BCE w/ gen dial + v2 + v3/Lello dw... THEN we're talking.
