briank996
Just got word from JMB that my new 1016 was finished... He sent me a few pics to tide me over while it's in transit, but actually I think they made me more anxious than anything else. Looks exquisite! A big thanks to Mr. JMB who is really a pleasure to deal with and would proactively keep me updated every step of the way. More pix on arrival... JMB Case with Custom Bezel Yuki Dial Gen Crown Clark Tube Clark T21 Crystal Cartel 7836 Bracelet WSO 580 End Links ETA 2824 (Date detent removed via 2801-2 Set Lever, Hack Lever Removed) JMB's fine work on putting this thing together. jmb
It was fun to build and interesting to "properly" convert the movement to a no-date...

jmb
Looks beautiful and I love the gilt dial! Only problem is it looks too NEW! Maybe, M, but it looks so nice and crisp! Brian can start with a clean canvas and give it a personality that's uniquely his!
lhooq
That white-on-gilt is the best Explorer dial that Yuki has put out in almost three years. It's nice to think that this might have been how the 1016 looked if you'd bought one from an AD in 1964! That's a beaut, Brian, Congratulations. Serafino
Another nice one JMB. At this rate I'm going to be, like, 10th with my gilt dial.
