Let me be the first to say that sometimes the best choice is no choice at all.

What I am trying to convey is that I do not always wear a watch. The impact of a bare wrist when everyone is accustomed to seeing my collection is often more of a statement than wearing the collection.

This is especially true of an event such as you have described. Cotton and linen over tanned bare skin places you as a supporting part of the cast that is not attempting to compete with the groom. Be cool my friend.
